  1. Tony Batista vs. Japan Right-click the link above and "Save Target As..."
  2. Yep, our commercials are way too damn cheesy. Last season's commercials were so much better.
  3. The double call was correct so it WAS a double. And it's AJ's fault that Garcia threw 2 wild pitches? Neither one was AJ's fault in my opinion. They were pretty uncatchable.
  4. We are facing another righty in Weaver and Contreras is pitching. I would be surprised if AJ isn't catching tomorrow.

  6. A fresh reliever is a better option than pitching a guy on 111 pitches in my opinion. I'm just a little pissed because I think Ozzie threw Freddy back out there just so he could qualify for the win. In other words, I don't like seeing our manager overwork our starters Dusty Baker-style. There's a reason El Duque's shoulder was sore a few weeks ago and had to miss two starts. He threw 118 and 116 pitches in two starts in a row.
  7. Last Saturday night at San Diego. Hopefully he will be well-rested and get back to pitching the way he was in the beginning of the season.
  8. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...t=.jsp&c_id=cws This move would also split up Contreras and El Duque from pitching back-to-back starts and would save our bullpen... Buehrle Garcia Contreras Garland El Duque
  9. Ozzie's Sunday sweep lineup and a nationally televised ESPN game? Don't get your hopes up.
  10. Corpseball until the 9th. I think they had 3 hits before the 9th. Elmer Dessens? Crazy.
  11. FWIW, there's a big difference between throwing over 100 pitches and throwing 120.
  12. Yep, it was all about giving Garcia a chance for the win. I'm still happy as f*** with the win though.
  13. Good point but Freddy was already at 111 pitches. Was anyone surprised that he gave up a run in the 8th?
  14. Of course, but he should have only gone 7 innings. If we lost that game 3-2, you guys would be reaming Ozzie right now and rightfully so. The offense saved Ozzie's ass from criticism tonight. Period.
  15. Ozzie still made a mistake throwing Freddy back out there in the 8th inning. That is irrefutable. He had 111 pitches at that point and finished with 120. Is Ozzie Dusty Baker or something?
