QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 01:30 AM) I should made one for the all city team too I just read that brewer board. What a bunch of pricks! I know we would help vote for Carlos in a second if he were on the last ballot. f*** those cheese heads.

QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 01:22 AM) Didnt go so well when I went over to that board! Guys my new sig dedicated to voting for pods? Great Idea !

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 12:58 AM) How about we say a mid to high 90's fastball that tops out around 100mph?? Let's not get expectations too high here. Blowing away AA hitters with top notch stuff is one thing. Let's see how he fares against big league hitters, especially after they have seen him a few times and begin to adjust. Fair enough. Thats still impressive regardless.

QUOTE(BHAMBARONS @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 12:49 AM) 101 MPH FB, A cut fastball (doesn't use it much so I am not positive on it) 92-94 uses it for Ground Balls, 12-6 Curve. Both Curve and FB are + pitches He currently has a 101 mph fastball ? HOLY s***!! I thought he lost it for some reason. Thanks!! Didnt realize he had a 12-6 either. Wow, I think he has the stuff to stay up here.

Can anyone tell me what pitches Jenks has? What does he clock at for each pitch ? I know he used to have that 103 mph 4-seamer what is it now?

QUOTE(Tadahito Iguchi @ Jul 4, 2005 -> 01:04 PM) Is it difficult to make a new forum just for trades? Like there would be Pale Hose Talk and than there would be the rumor mill. And please don't tell me to leave the site if i dont like it it's just hard to read the 20 Page threads....... Thanks ..................P.S- Im not sure if this issue has been brought up yet. I kind of agree. I love talking about rumors on trades. I just hate looking over a 20 page thread to read what I'm looking for. Especially since it is the hottest trade month of the year. I'm the type of guy who gets excited about little trades too. I.e Scott Sullivan in 03. Just my opinion. (not trying to step on anyone's toes here, just trying to give positive feedback)

I don't think astro fans are helping us out. They are voting for "Houstonian" Carl Crawford :headshake . Is it too late to make a deal with padre fans instead?
-
I let those astro fans know that we are still voting Roy. I dont know who those clowns were at the phillie board. http://p078.ezboard.com/fevilwontwinfrm3.s...icID=3153.topic If they are all going to vote for crawford Then I say we vote someone else. Lets see what they say though. Oswalt got a lot of help from me and lots of others. So I was pretty pissed to read that thread.

QUOTE(FGarcia34 @ Jul 4, 2005 -> 01:28 AM) I'm not going to lie, that message did get me alittle giddy in the pants. Glad you read it before I did. I would have called all my friends. I see a few typos though. It's not like your looking for typos when you read a trade article.

LOL that is one clever troll.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 4, 2005 -> 12:11 AM) That's nothing you need to find a way to make your voting system vote 2 million times.

QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Jul 4, 2005 -> 12:02 AM) After thinking about it...Pods has a chance to win. We have the support of: All Sox fans All Brewers fans Yankee haters Girls who think he is hot Yankees votes should be split too It hurts my eyes voting so much though. Mariner fans ( the team that drafted him) The only fans I can see NOT voting for pods beside yank fans could be: Cub fans Twin Fans Indian fans Royal fans Tiger fans Tampa Bay fans (crawford on the ballot)

QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Jul 3, 2005 -> 10:36 PM) He is really old so I don't know if the juice comments are completely fair but I do agree that he ends up in SD where he played before. He knows he gets the job while Loretta is out but I guess the Twins make some sense since he could start for them the rest of the year. Julio Franco is 10 years older with better stats.

QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jul 3, 2005 -> 10:45 PM) All im made about is that Hermanson or Politte didnt get in over Joe Nathon Im surprised francona didn't put his own guy clement on the final ballot at the least. I guess we had enough pitchers
-
QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jul 3, 2005 -> 10:37 PM) The truth dosent go down here very well with some people. I could care less if we deserve postion players or not. I agree we don't deserve any. This makes up for the snubs in the past. Paulie last year Frank 2003 Frank 2000 (but was 2nd for mvp) :headshake Torre screwed Paulie and Frank last year by putting them both on the last ballot( splitting the votes) Francona did it this year to the yanks. I love it!

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 3, 2005 -> 10:35 PM) Have your read any of my posts envolving the AL starting pitcher for the last month? I was one of like 3 people who were pro Halladay. You have to start reading my posts more intently and taking them to heart, study them, it will make you a better person. I did in the ATH forum. I thought you had a change of heart

QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jul 3, 2005 -> 10:31 PM) I could have sworn they said Konerko was on the team He means starters I think
-
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jul 3, 2005 -> 10:29 PM) He...was...joking You're right. Kalapse is one of the better posters here so I was a little shocked . Didn't have my sarcasm detector on tonight. (plus I just argued with 3 people who said halladay does not deserve to start)
-
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 3, 2005 -> 10:27 PM) I think he's talking about this lol
-
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 3, 2005 -> 10:14 PM) I voted for Mark. The stats don't lie. these stats? Era : Halladay 2.33 Mark 2.58 wins Halladay 12 Mark 10 whip Halladay 0.94 Mark 1.11 k's Halladay 104 mark 82 I love Buehrle as much as the next guy. But if you want to go with stats then I have to go with Halladay. I voted mark because he is on a 1st place team with comparable stats.

How to vote 50 times a second for Thomas!!!!
rangercal replied to Loaiza21's topic in Pale Hose Talk
http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/news/mlb...t=.jsp&c_id=mlb Ok That program used in 2003 worked then, I know it did. Who has access to it?????? -
another Idea would be going to Mariner and Brewer boards (pods former teams) Im sure they would help. I would help for CLee or any other former sox player. Wild card: yankee haters. They could also help vote for pods. Do you think sawx fans would love to screw jeter over ? I do. so would: Most fans especially Baltimore, Toronto, Met, and Atlanta Fans.
-
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 3, 2005 -> 07:37 PM) If we can figure out how to stuff the ballots or what have you, Yankees fans will figure it out, too. Face it, there's just no way for Pods to win this. Don't fool yourselves. Besides, it's just not worth it. It's a meaningless game and you'd just be wasting your time. I bet you would do it for Herbert Perry
-
From the other sox board.

QUOTE(CubsSuck1 @ Jul 3, 2005 -> 07:14 PM) Here is some sort of benchmark... http://sports.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnatio...g?event_id=1413 it shows Matsui will take away votes from jeter.
