I would not be surprised to see him end up on the Twins.

With that being said, my prediction is that Boone goes to the Padres.

He had to get off the juice sooner or later.

He is really old so I don't know if the juice comments are completely fair but I do agree that he ends up in SD where he played before. He knows he gets the job while Loretta is out but I guess the Twins make some sense since he could start for them the rest of the year.

Good riddance Bret Boone. Never have liked you, your cockgobbler-ish bat flip, or teh 'roids that helped you put up numbers to be financially secure on 1 contract.

Brian was celebrating when he read that Boone was designated. He follows the Mariners and said that Boone has sucked for about a year now and he was also glad Boone was gone because there was too much there saying he did roids that year to get the home runs.

Before the new drug policy, 36 wasn't considered old anymore. All of a sudden it is again.

 

Plus, Boone is another guy that Canseco named in his book. He said Boone gave him a wink when Canseco mentioned that Boone had really bulked up.
