  1. That roller was a classic example of a young pitcher trying to aim. Just snap it off bro. You cannot throw a roller to the middle of the order in the majors.
  2. We can come back, just get out of this with only that damage
  3. Thats why you need to stay away from the walk kid. You'll learn
  4. There it is. Semien cannot hit sliders like his. 88 mph
  5. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:29 PM) And here comes Semien to hit the grand slam... Just dont give him a fastball he can hit
  6. QUOTE (TitoMB @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:29 PM) f*** oakland. i don't understand why so many people hate on LA. Oakland is 10x worse. 100x worse, horrible
  7. QUOTE (TitoMB @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:27 PM) wow, do they really let fans bring in a marching band? what the f*** is going on? Why the f*** is a marching band playing while he is pitching. Its Oakland, they will shoot you if they arent let in
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:26 PM) He has better command of his slider than fastball. For sure. Hes wild at this stage in his career, but when it comes around watch out
  9. Coco with a walk up song about cocaine. Seems about right
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:24 PM) Calling for way too many fastballs this inning. Should be nothing but sliders to lefties, WWTF
  11. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:23 PM) Flowers and Soto hit some home runs too .554 OPS isnt good?
  12. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:20 PM) HERE IN THE CONFERENCE OF CHAMPIONS The Pac12 IS awesome at track and field
  13. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:21 PM) He's flying open. Doesnt help his fastball moves away from righties
  14. QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:19 PM) That's why I'm hoping shark turns it around and can a constant RHP starter that balances the rotation I know some dont believe me but he would sign for under market with the Sox. I am on the fence at this point if we even want him. There has to be another option and then pick up a 5th starter off the scrap heap every season.
  15. QUOTE (farmteam @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:17 PM) I'll end up watching Pac12 games just because it's the best thing on late at night. Love the late games. Sometimes im working late on the road and its the only thing on at the hotel bar. I end up watching alot of the WCC late at night.
  16. Nice swing there. Not the location he wanted but I like him going after these guys. Forget about the homer and be aggressive.
  17. QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:17 PM) He's young and that's expected. I'm very excited about Rodon. Polished Rodon and Sale will scare the s*** out of teams in a few years. And Q. Hes a QS machine. Just need some RHP
  18. QUOTE (raBBit @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:14 PM) The Sox didn't do anything. He fell in their lap. They would have passed on guys like him years ago because of his agent and demands to be in the majors and overall contract. Chris Sale's success and a change of philosophy with Hahn changed that recently.
  19. QUOTE (raBBit @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:12 PM) I try not to eat up the makeup part of the ball game but all offseason Hahn was saying, "this guy is high character" and "this guy is great in the clubhouse." Our bench is full of leadership. Beckham, Bonifacio and Soto are all great teammates. First ones out of the dugouts on big hits, always hyped in the pregame, etc. It's not tangible but it definitely doesn't hurt. By far the biggest leaders by example are Abreu and Sale with Laroche coming on however there are many others that are vocal like Soto, Shark, Beckham and Eaton. Abreu is the guy the team looks to for leadership, work ethic and production. He's taken over that clubhouse once Paulie was gone.
  20. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 15, 2015 -> 10:07 PM) what luck this guy fell to the Sox at 3. One of the best pure talents available at 3 probably in the last decade, right? Hes the type of guy they wouldnt sign before because of demands. Huge move by the Sox.
