QUOTE (fathom @ May 25, 2008 -> 09:04 PM) That's a lofty statement on such an underachieving offensive team. hes become the worst throwing catcher ive ever seen on the white sox.....slow pitchers or not...he never works the count, has a low obp, and has average power...hes basically a singles hitter who gets way too much love from white sox faithfull...hell even i have his jersey -

QUOTE (Capn12 @ May 25, 2008 -> 08:48 PM) Do we not work any goddamn pitchers anymore?!?! 6 pitches last inning, 2 pitches and 2 outs already this inning AJ, Crede, Uribe, Ramirez and even OC are guys who simple dont work pitchers...we have too many guys in this lineup liek that....the fact that konerko, thome and swisher are the only ones who really do is really tough when those guys are scuffling like they are -

QUOTE (fathom @ May 25, 2008 -> 08:43 PM) Anyone following the Reds game? Nothing like pitching your young superstar on 2 days rest in the 18th inning. lol to be fair it probably is a bullpen day for him....but then again i would imagine he would have already thrown that -

it seems like a great majority of our baserunners in the last 5 or so games have been erased by double plays or base running mistakes -

(Maybe) Bad News for Bagwell, Pettitte, Clemens
daa84 replied to Gregory Pratt's topic in The Diamond Club
at this point nothing more really hurts clemens...everyone knows he did it...no new evidence hurts him too much (at least in the court of public opinion)...this is worst for pettitte who everyone believed, at least for a while...which frankly his whole story i never really bought in the first place -

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 25, 2008 -> 08:34 PM) I have a big zone, but i haven't had any problem with the ump. I'm fine with his zone and i just hope he calls it consistent for both teams. yeah hes been consistent i agree..i have no problem with him either..i was just saying i think the espn zone always tries to make the umps look good....if he wants to call 2 inches off i have no problem with it....as long as he does it for both teams which he has...no qualms at all about the ump from me...i just think sometimes espn k zone takes those extra 2 inches and makes them into balls over the plate when they arent -

btw is anyone else as convinced as i am that the espn thing is set up so that the umps dont look bad? i know it showed one earlier was a ball that they called a strike, i feel like K zone agrees with the umpire way more than it should EDIT: ok i assume brian agrees with me based on your post while i was typing mine lol -
