QUOTE (Dunt @ Jun 3, 2016 -> 01:56 PM) Holy s*** that lineup is trash. You're really going to bring up Kahnle over a guy like Coats? This is the perfect opportunity to give him a shot. It's almost like they don't value winning division games. I had my fill of Kahnle last weekend. Hahn should be ashamed of himself for our extreme lack of outfield depth.

Matt Albers crushed an opposite-field double
QUOTE (shysocks @ Jun 1, 2016 -> 03:37 PM) Christopher Kamka @ckamka 47s47 seconds ago Albers is first #WhiteSox reliever (non-position player pitcher) to score a run snice Cliff Politte 6/8/2005 ...And you know what happened in 2005!

QUOTE (fathom @ May 31, 2016 -> 05:19 PM) Wow team looks defeated already. How is this acceptable to JR and Hahn Because they are incompetent in running an MLB franchise.

Saladino could be getting more time at SS
I wish they would just promote Robin to "Special Assistant to Jim Thome" and let Renteria manage the team already.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 31, 2016 -> 01:33 PM) Yes. He should always play vs lefties and never vs righties. If Ventura insists on him being the starter, but chooses this as his day off, I riot. Robin seems clueless sometimes.

Robin Ventura sacrifice bunted with the 3 hitter in the 7th inning
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 30, 2016 -> 05:22 PM) Outside of 1977, there wasn't really a competitive team in there. 1972

Robin Ventura sacrifice bunted with the 3 hitter in the 7th inning
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 30, 2016 -> 05:10 PM) *Melky Cabrera then bunted both runners over. Cabrera has bunted against Robin Ventura's wishes in the past, so it might not have been called from the dugout, but it didn't work. Todd Frazier popped out and J.B. Shuck grounded out to keep the game scoreless. SSS.com Margalus is right, maybe. But we'll never know in a million years if Cabrera bunted on his own, because that would mean there's an issue with Ventura...Robin won't "out" Melky. Not sure which one is worse really, the White Sox doing things on their own because they're letting the pressure get to them and making their own strategic decisions that fly in the face of reams of statistical evidence about the best ways to manufacture big innings...or Ventura's decision-making process being flawed or outdated? And yet more reason/s not to bunt. You didn't have Melky or Abreu hitting 5th. You had JB FREAKIN' SHUCK. Now all of a sudden Robin has undue confidence or misplaced loyalty because he liked having him on the team last year and Shuck came through in a few key PH situations? Melky showed bunt several times before laying down that bunt. If Robin didn't want him to bunt he could have stopped him after he showed bunt the first time. But Robin said he called for the bunt in a post game interview anyway, so it's a moot point.

You don't bunt with your best hitter up.

QUOTE (fathom @ May 30, 2016 -> 01:46 PM) Hard to see Robin surviving this trip You think he's going to resign?

5/30 - Sox at Mets
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 30, 2016 -> 01:19 PM) Can't agree with that reasoning. Bunting is a valid and effective strategy. We had one out and two runners in scoring position and our bug hitter up Good strategy if the pitcher was up. Bad strategy when your best hitter is up.

Robin out dumbed himself that inning.

Morrissey: JR/Sox don't care what fans think/want
JR shouldn't be surprised when the Sox average 15K per game next home stand.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ May 29, 2016 -> 10:20 AM) Well if Sale reverts back to before the Indians game (CG beast) and the Sox score runs, I don't see why they can't win today. Not even Robin can f*** that up. I don't expect them to win.
