QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 1, 2011 -> 04:36 PM) I haven't paid attention too closely, but have there been any flyballs towards Viciedo? None that I have seen, althoguh I did miss the first inning or so.
-
Boggs strikes out swinging on a high and tight fastball. Inning over. Still 1-0 Brewers.
-
Counsell Singles past a diving Lillibridge. Viciedo picks ball up, fires to 3b, runner is thrown out at 3b.
-
Betancourt singles to RF off of Thorty.
-
Good for you when you consume it though.
-
Kotsay grounds to 2b. (The 2b actually had to move to his right. His RIGHT!)
-
Thornt'in.
-
Everyone's over Flaxx.
-
Dunn GIDP into the shift
-
Milledge pops out
-
Inning ends on a groundout to Vizquel. Runner stranded.
-
Weeks walks.
-
Nieves flies out to L-C, De Aza callign off Milledge.
-
First guy up for the Brewers grounds hard to Teahen, Teahen dives into the dirt, gets the ball, stands up and barely throws runner out. Ball might not have required a dive for most people, he didn't have to stretch a ton.
-
Crain in.
-
De Aza grounds to 1b, inning over, runner stranded at 2b.
-
The Stealth Elf puts down a bunt, it's a beauty, Counsell makes a stellar play to retire him, McPherson moves to 2b.
-
McPherson with a solid pulled single to RF.
-
Viciedo hit a ball to the fence in CF on a high and outside fastball, Gomez hauled it in jumping against the fence.

QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Mar 1, 2011 -> 04:04 PM) Humber reminds me of some other Sox pitcher, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Richard Dotson, maybe? There's no radar gun, but nothing he's thrown so far screams "Domination!" to me. Fastball has occasionally had people missing, and I've seen an offspeed pitch or two. Nothing's been hit all that hard, but I'm not sure that's because he's making good pitches; it's more because he's a little wild.
-
Humber retires 3rd out, stranding 2 runners, last out was a flyout to Milledge.
-
Couple outs recorded, second on a weak grounder to Vizquel and nice play. 2nd and 3rd, 2 outs.
-
Betancourt singles up the middle, 2 men on 0 outs.
