Just got back from dinner and was half expecting the Sox to finally be losing!! It is AMAZING how the Sox continue to be in close games. It is obviously the pitching, but for me as a Sox fan, I am not used to this kind of amazing baseball!! Go Sox!!

With our pitching staff currently 17-3 I believe, I was wondering what the ML record is for most W's by a starting staff. Aside from that, which team in the last 10-15 years has compiled the most wins in a year? I would have to guess Atlanta of the early 90's? Is it possible for our starters to win 75 games?

I know this is right in the middle of a game thread, but I wanted to join Soxtalk and start contributing. I live in Raleigh, NC but have been a die hard fan for all my life. Hope to have good convo with everyone here... Go Sox!!
