come on people, there has to be a way to get this deal done even if just for one of them without trading SEVEN players for them Odds are better in our favor if we give up say stewart/diaz and paul for vasquez or colon but remember, it will be cheaper to get colon cuz they need to move his salary, whereas vasquez doesent move that much salary, cuz hes young and cheep which is what the expos want. if they are just shedding salary they wont move vasquez

i think i would rather give up maybe one very good prospect and one or two maybes, than 5 maybees

I would expect maybe to get one of the guys, but the salary thing has to kind of even out, maybe give them clee or leifer plus pitching prospects, say stewart/malone plus ginter

recently cashman said the team may not be done buying, who would the yanks want in return for sp? i would give up some pitching prospects for pettite if yanks give us some cash for part of his 11.5 mil salary. or maybe hitchcock but im not as hot on him.

I do not think the sox will sign anybody noteworthy nor will they trade for a good pitcher... just not like KW.... he has said is comfy with the roster as is. just sit back and hope the kids can pull it out!
