  1. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 7, 2006 -> 06:02 PM) Wow, we're lucky to come away with that one. That was a wild game and very reminiscant of the MSU game at home last year. I know no one likes to hang their hat on moral victories, but that tOSU team is ridiculous. They were just lights out all day. That's just huge for Indiana to finally win a game in crunch time though. They showed some heart to come back from a deficit of 17. Lots of crazy games today, 6 ranked teams have gone down. PLEASE tell me how you call a jump ball when another player clearly has possesion of the ball up against his chest. Also I would like to know where the foul on Dials was? The dude that set the pick fell down and tripped Dials....is that a foul??? Those two calls totally killed the buckeyes...great comeback by Indiana to make it a game.
  2. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 7, 2006 -> 03:38 PM) Well they have the schedule to win the big 10. Ie playing the worse schools in the big 10 twice. However I don't see them being able to go deep in the tourney but they can very well prove me wrong. I'm far from an expert. But I'd put them in a similar boat as the rest of the Big 10 teams. Ie strong but not strong enough. I do agree their schedule is easy..they only play the illini once and i could be wrong but i think that game is at home. Today is by far the biggest test for the buckeyes. IF they can go into bloomington and pull out a win it will do wonders for their confidence. GO BUCKS!
  3. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 7, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) Your beatable, just like every team in the Big 10 is this year. Its a deep conference basketball wise, but aside from Michigan State and potentially Indiana, I don't see any team capable of making that big time tourney run. The Illini are strong defensively, but they aren't the team they once were. The defense is what is going to make them one of the 2 best in the big 10, but someone other than Dee is going to step it up cause he's going to have off-nights (Freeman, Henderson and Horner did an outstanding job on him). How can you rule out OSU??
  4. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jan 7, 2006 -> 02:27 PM) Since I really don't know where to go to get a really good briefcase/atache, I thought I'd ask Soxtalkers if they knew of any major chain stores that carry them and where my best bet would be to find a quality one. Since I'm student teaching, I need something to keep my files/homework assignments/etc. in when I go to school every day. Any assistance would kick ass. I am a big fan of Tumi. www.tumi.com You can also see Tumi at Nordstroms and Marshall Fields.
  5. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jan 7, 2006 -> 01:50 PM) Maybe its not made up BINGO! I have no reason to lie.
  6. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jan 7, 2006 -> 01:45 PM) It's probably not a good idea to make blanket statements about an entire race of people. Question the individual not the race. Why dont you take a trip to San Antonio or Atlanta. I want you to ask around about what THEY think about the people from New Orleans. You will see for yourself that it is not just us "silver spoon" individuals who have this view.
  7. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jan 7, 2006 -> 01:19 PM) And I am questioned for calling some people on this board as racist. Unreal. So since you're Polish I guess you don't spend your money on deodorant. The fact is that people who received these $2,000 cards ARE using them to buy things that are not needed. I have friends from college that live in Atlanta, they saw a high influx of people from NO. One of my friends who works as a store manager for Guess would see the NO people buying louis vuitton purses and other HIGH priced items. Is this what they should be spending the TAX PAYERS money on??

  11. QUOTE(gar102 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 07:42 PM) I noticed the same thing yesterday and also was worried something may have happened. But today I went on and the have my tickets listed by game. So it appears they are setting the accounts up. Give it a another look or try tomorrow. No s*** I just checked and they are there, must of did this in the afternoon today.

  15. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:30 AM) I've been to OSU a couple of years back during the Nat'l championship season. That place was f***ing loud. The Rose Bowl's walls aren't high enough or steep enough to keep the sound inside, plus there's no type of roof. I've never been to Michigan, but it would be hard to top OSU. Anyway, like I've been saying and Vince Young has been saying, he's going to stay. I think he wants to win another Nat'l Championship and I think he wants to win the Heisman. Sept. 9th 2006
  16. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:27 AM) against Michigan in 2000. Michigan won. Yeah same year they lost to Minnesota when OSU was ranked 5th in the nation.....I was soo pissed off at that game.
  17. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:25 AM) yeah and it is LOUD. The noise stays in because of the way it was built. It has not always been closed in.......Rafters were there just a few years ago....
  18. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 12:25 AM) yeah and it is LOUD. The noise stays in because of the way it was built. Game? Year?
  19. Anyone watching the interview of VY on ESPN? He was asked if the RoseBowl was the loudest stadium he has ever played in....he said No, Ohio State was the loudest he has ever heard and played in! DAMN STRAIGHT!!
