QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 25, 2005 -> 11:24 PM) If Jenks was able to go 2 innings tonight, then against I ask the question: why Hermanson over Jenks? If Ozzie thought Hermanson had a better chance to get Lane out, then I guess I can't argue with just stupidity. Tommorrow is immaterial......Garcia will give us a complete game (a shutout at that!)

Woah!!!!!!!! Was that 1-2-3????? I'm in more shock than when we pitched our way out of the last 4 innings!!

QUOTE(greg775 @ Oct 25, 2005 -> 11:21 PM) the only way oz can be blamed is if he gets starters up and ruins the rotation for the rest of the series. it's jenks for 4 innings and marte after that. we got no options. I can't see Jenks going 4.....perhaps 3 but 4 is out of the question

QUOTE(aiko @ Oct 25, 2005 -> 11:16 PM) Well, Wandy vs. Marte sure would be a battle of epic proportions. They could probably each throw 3 shutout innings the way these offenses have been.

Cardiologists on the southside have to be very busy tonight!

Time for some GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was anyone else scared with the way Juan circled on that popout? I just about s*** my pants

I'm ready for some 6-4-3

QUOTE(greg775 @ Oct 25, 2005 -> 10:56 PM) Now we are using our closer in a tie game. At least our closer isn't out of the game!

No matter what happens the rest of this game....the starters tomorrow are going to be relied upon to put in some innings.....that makes me like Garcia over Backe even more.

Let the Timo bashing stop forever if he gets a hit here!

I'm ready to give a virtual high 5 to everyone on the board!

Hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Gooch goes yard, I'll be glad he couldn't get the bunt down!

Lets hit and run...open up the infield for Gooch!

I think all these games are going to be replayed on ESPN Classic very soon! I just hope I don't have a heart attack before than so I can watch them again!

Time to listen to some Steve Perry

Throw strikes!!! No more walks please!!!!!!!!!

DON'T STOP BELIEVIN'

1 down!!!! WTG Viz!!!!!!!!!

I gots faith in Viz!!!!

QUOTE(mr_genius @ Oct 25, 2005 -> 10:24 PM) I'm suprised Buck and McCarver aren't b****ing about how if the HR would have been called correctly as a double the game would have been won already by the Sox. Come on....we won't hear a mention about that again the rest of the series....however, we'll surely hear about how the ball hit Dye's bat every night for the next 2 years.

Maybe we should walk Lidge to start the inning.....than El Duque would become dominant against the next 3 batters!

Anyone else have the feeling we are in for about 6 extra frames tonight??

QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Oct 25, 2005 -> 10:16 PM) WHo you got in the 10th? Hernandez or Jenks? I think El Duque goes the next 2 innings unless we get a lead here or sometime in the 11th.
