  1. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 04:31 PM) If it helped him get a job for 10 years...then that's a pretty profitable lie. What is your argument here Balta? It is profitable, so it isnt stupid? He just lost his job and probably severely hampered his ability to get a similar job in that profession, called his integrity into question which also affects him getting a job outside of his profession. It was a stupid lie
  2. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 04:25 PM) How long do you think he's been telling that lie? Seems like a while. It is still pretty damn stupid
  3. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball...me-inaccuracies seriously, nowadays why would you lie about something like this?
  4. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 03:47 PM) I was under the impression that Dan is a big power/offense type of player and Wise is...not. Isn't offense what we need right now? I agree, which is why I say preference. Johnson shouldnt have to prove he is ready, he is an experienced major league player
  5. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 03:40 PM) Damn, I was hoping to see that Dan Johnson guy. Do the Sox not think he's ready to come up yet or what...? I dont think it is a matter of readiness, but rather a matter of preference

  7. We are moving to Schaumburg this fall due to a few factors(AHPD fields being completely torn out, and not wanting to get squashed by the #3 tournament team in the STATE), and this is the first time we have played ASA. We got a new team bat, the Worth Filthy http://www.worldshottestbats.com/worth-454-filthy-review.php Pretty stoked to get this thing going next thursday
  8. i love that the NY Daily News has a headline "Tim Tebow dazzles with his legs during debut for NY Jets in preseason opener against Bengals" 4 of 8 for 27 yards and an INT. 18.2 QB rating
  9. White Sox lineup 2B Gordon Beckham CF DeWayne Wise 1B DeWayne Wise RF DeWayne Wise 3B DeWayne Wise SS DeWayne Wise LF DeWayne Wise C DeWayne Wise DH Alejandro De Aza
  10. Will Middlebrooks broke his wrist last night. I bet Boston fans are even happier now that Valentine ran off Youkilis
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 10:42 AM) Huh? Axelrod? Dick Allen. He called Wise a few posts back
  12. And the Mike Brown days of employment countdown begins...........now
  13. I think Johnson because he makes the most sense given his position and current season, but I would actually prefer Jackson
  14. QUOTE (Carter224 @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 08:59 AM) I haven't heard anything about what was going on with the TNA thing, I assume that they either havent done anything with it yet or it didnt work out but im not sure. He doesnt travel with WWE but when they are in Houston/San Antonio he gets called in to do stuff backstage and then be like EMT, Security, or Cops for those type of segments. Whats funny is he was going to be in that squash match with Jindar Mahal and Ryback but William Regal said he was too big and nixed that idea. My brother was pretty mad about that. Man, i wouldnt want to be squashed by Ryback
  15. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Aug 11, 2012 -> 12:06 AM) D2 is a pimp. Also, how about trying to sign B-Mac for the 2013 rotation? (I still think the rotation will be Sale-Peavy-Liriano-RH-Q/Danks) He is too frequently injured
  16. QUOTE (Carter224 @ Aug 10, 2012 -> 09:01 PM) If anyone watched Smackdown tonight, my brother was one of the security guys who beat up on Sheamus So TNA didnt work out, huh? Does he travel with WWE, or only when they are in the area is he called?
  17. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Aug 10, 2012 -> 11:38 PM) It had to go higher than just Sandusky. A Pennsylvania District Attorney disappeared over this. (Ray Gricar http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_Gricar ) I saw that "Haunting Evidence" show about Gricar's disappearance sometime before the Sandusky story broke, and I remember they were referencing that he was on to something pretty big, but they didnt know what.
  18. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Aug 10, 2012 -> 08:06 PM) Nothing makes Gordon look worse than batting right before De Aza. You go, boy. Lol. Right
  19. Floyd isn't gonna like that run, he needs to give that back
  20. QUOTE (chw42 @ Aug 10, 2012 -> 07:14 PM) That run's on the umpire. They weren't that close, and the next time Floyd wants to pay attention to a runner on third will be the first time
  21. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Aug 10, 2012 -> 06:07 PM) I've never seen someone get a concussion before without having been knocked out. You see it in the NFL all the time
  22. It would be kind of funny if that article was followed by "Why the Texans will suck this season", only because of SOXOBAMAs picks
  23. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Aug 10, 2012 -> 04:37 PM) Why does it have to be De Aza's fault? I'm not suggesting moving him to 9th to punish him, I'm suggesting it to help the overall offense of the team. What if De Aza is as good a 9th hitter as he's been a leadoff hitter this year? We won't know until we try. You are punishing De Aza and the team by moving him from the leadoff. He sees a lot of pitches, gets on base, he even drives in a lot of runs. Beckham does none of this. Sorry, it is a terrible idea to move De Aza to ninth in order to spark a terrible hitter just because you hope it might work. Im glad Robin wont try, because I dont want to know.
