  1. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 11:08 PM) LOL at anyone who thinks AJ was responsible for getting Peavy lifted from the game. Wow. LOL - is Peavy paying you with all the money he makes (but doesn't earn) to defend his butt???
  2. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 10:59 PM) 1.) We don't win the WS without this prick. 2.) Who cares if AJ showed up Peavy. Did you want to lose the game? We were on our way to blowing another game. Thank you, AJ, for helping us win. Everybody's afraid of Peavy, including Oz. I love what AJ did. Somebody now needs to man up to Dunn to wake his lard ass up. I agree! (Although I don't think AJ is a prick.)
  3. [ I love AJ. Um...he's mine. I love him more.
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 10:38 PM) Damn, and if we lost we could have rioted... Against Peavy??? Heck yeah! (Just kidding - don't get all upset again, sweetie).
  5. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 10:33 PM) And calling someone a crybaby isn't? Seriously???? You are being very argumentative. Be happy. We f'n won!
  6. QUOTE (C_LEE45 @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 10:33 PM) peavy is acting like a little b****,am SHOCKED peavy didnt hurt himself from aj pulling him down the stairs!!!!!!!! OMG---that made me laugh so hard I have tears in my eyes.
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 10:31 PM) AJ is an ass. There really isn't any argument there. ohhh- that's just hateful. Here you need to chill!
  8. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 10:29 PM) AJ won the game with his triple and probably saved the game by letting Ozzie & Coop know that Peavy had nothing left. If they leave Peavy in, the Sox probably lose. Too bad they didn't listen to AJ in that Oakland game. AMEN!!!!
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 10:27 PM) That is totally besides the point. You'd be pissed off too if you got shown up in front of your teammates and a stadium of people. I'm sorry, but I don't buy that. Peavy is a crybaby, but you and I can disagree. BTW, Comcast is praising A.J. right now!
  10. QUOTE (ROC Sox Fan @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 10:17 PM) But Peavy showed up A.J. first by shaking off his call. I'm with you ROC. I mean to me it looks like Peavy couldn't pitch and he was blaming his ineffectiveness on A.J. Not cool. Besides, who didn't want Peavy pulled when A.J. was motioning for it????
  11. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 10:15 PM) Beating the Cubs is such f***ing fun!! Totally!!
  12. QUOTE (Real @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 10:00 PM) in the alternate universe where these sox fans live that believe you can just dump any players contract to any team and the trade just happens by clicking your heels together three times these same fans think you can just eat contracts and release players making 15m a year for the next 4 years lol Where is the sarcasm button because I don't seriously believe we could do that, but geez, are you really saying you think these guys are worth their salaries right now? You must be watching different games than I.
  13. Big difference between Joe Fan sitting on his couch yelling, and your catcher showing you up. Doesn't matter if he gave up 10 consecutive HRs, you can't do that. Really? Peavy is a china doll. I think I am tougher than that wimp and sometimes the truth hurts.
  14. I know you guys are all done complaining about A.J. but I think you are nuts. I was screaming at my TV to pull that idiot Peavy long before A.J. made the sign. Peavy is a huge waste of money. I say trade his butt and send Dunn and Rios with him. Maybe we could get some players worth something and with a little more emotion for the game - like A.J.!!!!
  15. Why don't they want A.J. back?? Flowers is no good and Castro is average. At least A.J. brings team chemistry and his darn good looks!
  16. QUOTE (BFirebird @ May 12, 2010 -> 02:18 PM) This may sound stupid..but just bad luck? IMO...the hitting coach has little to do with it. We have a historic low BABIP because of bad luck and so many HR. Obviously they won't be a top 10 offense but if things even out they should be slightly below middle of the pack. Could be, but historically, A.J.'s a pretty good hitter. I wonder if it is his contract that is bringing him down. Maybe when the weather gets warmer Beckham and Quentin will get better. I don't know much about Kotsay, but whoever said earlier to bring back Juan Uribe - I would second that motion! Uribe was AWESOME!!!! Anyway, SOMETHING has changed and caused these guys to suck.
  17. The real question is WHY aren't the Sox hitting????? Is it Walker? Is there too much pressure on the guys (like Beckham)? (I know he should be able to handle it). I think for A.J. he just needs to be more patient at the plate. Any thoughts?
  18. QUOTE (SHIPPS @ May 6, 2010 -> 03:13 PM) Rios is going yard today....maybe two. Hope you're right!!!!
  19. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ May 6, 2010 -> 02:33 PM) Seriously? It's one thing to question his bat or his arm, but as far as fielding he's been pretty good throughout his career. Totally! I truly get nervous when the ball is hit anywhere near him and his arm is horrible! Oh well - I guess that is just my opinion. I think CQ looks horrible in right too, but I know others don't agree with me there. As for A.J. catching a lot - he's used it, but I would rather see Castro than Lucy - since so many have a little "love affair" with Lucy and if he gets a single they want A.J. out.
  20. QUOTE (gordonventura38 @ May 6, 2010 -> 02:27 PM) Probably just because Castro is available now, and Eveland is a lefty. Well, hopefully that high def camera will be aimed at the dugout all night! But seriously, what are we going to do with Juan Pierre?? When the ball gets hit to him I think I am going to have a heart attack - I mean he dances around and looks like he is afraid of the ball!!!!!
  21. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 6, 2010 -> 01:26 PM) CASTRO! WTF?!?!?!? Why no A.J.???
