  1. QUOTE(YASNY @ Mar 25, 2008 -> 09:37 AM) Oh please elaborate. I doubt it would ever happen but if voter fraud could somehow be proved the voters could be fined and given jail time. Chance of this occurring is approximately .00001% From the article ATTHOMEBOY linked:
  2. QUOTE(YASNY @ Mar 25, 2008 -> 09:35 AM) No legs to this. Limbaugh has 1st amendment rights, even if he is a conservative. All he did was talk. The voters can be fined for this. Could prevent voters in future voting states to think twice.
  3. QUOTE(Cknolls @ Mar 25, 2008 -> 09:02 AM) He is MSNBC's answer to balance. Liberal network token conservative. Oh yeah, Tucker too, if you can find him now that his show was cancelled. And Scarborough.
  4. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 25, 2008 -> 09:07 AM) A think a lot of independents like myself will be voting for McCain, should that happen. I'd sit this one out.
  5. Decent blog about Hillary and her problem of being trustworthy.
  6. QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Mar 24, 2008 -> 04:45 PM) If she did get in because of AA that doesnt have to mean she was unqualified but it does however mean that she got in ahead of someone more qualified and that person didnt get in because of her. Its this train of thought that is the problem with affirmative action. But it seems like you are blaming her because of affirmative action. And calling her racist because of it.
  7. All I could do is roll my eyes after seeing this.
  8. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Mar 24, 2008 -> 04:06 PM) This article from The New Republic pretty much sums up how bad this extended nomination is for the Democratic Party. Good read. Thanks for the link.
  9. How does Pat retain his job at MSNBC?
  10. QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Mar 24, 2008 -> 03:23 PM) The reason why I posted that one is because Newsweek is the most credible source I found when searching for proof so I apologize for the confusion. There are a lot of political blogs that talk about the issue but again there is no definitive proof. That quote however is from someone close to her and is about Michelle so its not like Im pulling this out of thin air. EVeryone in this thread seems to think Im making this up when it has been a popular topic on news shows and articles online and even people close to her seem to think AA played a part in her education. If its worth anything I can post links to the blogs that talk about it but they arent credible enough to post alone. I read about 15 different political news websites and blogs every day and haven't been reading anything of the sort.
  11. QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Mar 24, 2008 -> 03:16 PM) Base price is expected to be $50k, last I heard. The premium is reported to be in the 65-70 range. http://www.news.com/8301-10784_3-9717581-7.html
  12. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 24, 2008 -> 03:14 PM) explain, please. LINK
  13. Movie review Michael Medved's take on the Obama speech as well as slavery.
  14. And even if Michelle were quoted as saying that she got in because of affirmative action is it because she believes that or that she knows that? Would they actually tell her that she was accepted at Harvard because of affirmative action? I somehow doubt that.
  15. QUOTE(Chet Lemon @ Mar 24, 2008 -> 03:01 PM) it is what vera williams recalled. not a direct michelle obama quote. ^^^^
  16. QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Mar 24, 2008 -> 02:37 PM) Ill take her word over an Obama supporter
  17. Buy you claimed that Michelle Obama admitted it and that you believed her word over a campaign surrogate.
  18. QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Mar 24, 2008 -> 02:44 PM) Ya, Ive posted it three times in this thread so whats one more... What can I say? I have A.D.D.
  19. All I have to say is Whitestar Fall 2009. Sign me up.
  20. QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Mar 24, 2008 -> 02:37 PM) Clearly she said that was how she got into college in that Newsweek interview Can you provide a quote or link that CLEARLY states what you are claiming?
  21. US Rep. Lynn Woolsey Defecting from Clinton to Obama?
  22. What would Kate Beckingsale rather eat than sushi?
  23. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 24, 2008 -> 01:54 PM) You know, I've seen people here say that the GOP has no chance in November for any number of reasons (Bush, McCain not bringing out the base, Bush, the Iraq War, Bush, the economy, Bush). Then I hear other people saying the exact same thing of Obama (race, the Wright sermons, race, lack of experience, race), and also of Clinton (she's a Clinton, she'll bring out the conservative base, she's a Clinton, impressions of falsehood, she's a Clinton, voted for the Iraq War, she's a Clinton). I think November will be a very tight race, regardless of who wins the Dem nomination. Seeing that even her camp thinks her chances are remote then why is her campaign dragging Obama in the mud and prolonging this? What is the ultimate purpose? It's definitely not good for the party. I think we can all agree on that.
