  6. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 13, 2010 -> 09:36 AM) Mobile devices have come a long way, but they are still lacking some pieces. Most people still have a seperate phone, music player, and PC/laptop, as well as possibly other mobile units like GPS, radio, game player, etc. So describe here, what your ultimate all-in-one MOBILE device would be? The one you'd pay big money for, so that you could have it in just one place? Here's mine. If this device existed, I'd pay serious money for it... --Data phone capabilities like my Blackberry has (but a less clunky OS), the usual - cell, text, web, calendar/task sync, etc. --Music playing software as good as (or better than) iPod --Storage capacity similar to a large store iPod (80 GB or bigger) --Ability to automatically sync data when connected to a home base computer --A GPS unit that can be used for navigation away from roads - real nav software with USGS data for altitude, etc. --A tough case - water and shock resistant, instead of these flimsy things currently out there --AM/FM radio receiver --2-way radio capabilities (not PTT, but self-powered point-to-point radio, like FRS or MGRS) --Enough battery power to go a week without charging There's my ideal product. All those things exist in seperate products, but not one. How about yours? I'd add to that dual 8mp cameras on either side with video abilities. I think the Sprint EVO will have dual cameras. One will be 10mp and the other 1.3.
  7. QUOTE (mmmmmbeeer @ Apr 13, 2010 -> 07:43 AM) But you've got to ask yourself how much that has to do with Don Cooper? It's been reported repeatedly that Coop told him to ditch the 100mph heat in exchange for better control and more movement, a strategy that worked brilliantly in '07. I'd imagine that even if he wanted to throw 100mph heat now it would take a change in his routine to get there. I don't think this is what happened with Peavy, I'm pretty sure Coop let's a vet with a history of success do what he wants to do. I think Jake is just having mechanical issues. Just going from memory, his delivery looked different at the end of last season and before. He looked to be finishing in a more upright position last night further back from the hitter (closer to the rubber). Have his mechanics changed due to injury? I don't know, but if it's injury it looks to be a lower body injury to me as opposed to an elbow or shoulder. God I would hope so.
  8. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Apr 13, 2010 -> 06:42 AM) Orlando Hudson says racism is the reason why Dye, other black players are jobless. I don't know about that. Dye and Sheffield are DHs at this point on their careers just like Thome. Thome is lucky enough to be left handed which makes him more desirable. And he's primarily sitting on the Twins bench. Who else needs a DH? And if Milton Bradley can keep getting chances then come on....you just need to be at least perceived to be able to produce. Those other guys can't field and have declining offensive numbers.
  9. This slightly reminds me of the Tigers a couple years back where they had unhittable 7th and 8th inning guys and used Todd Jones as the closer.
  10. Gotta love back to back walks from your closer.
  11. They can't groom Santos fast enough.
  12. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Apr 12, 2010 -> 09:35 PM) Why didn't we have Q bunt? That extra run would have been huge. Because we still need to get a safety.
  13. Some awful execution those last 2 ABs.
  14. GAmeday scored it a defensive indifference. No steal.
  15. Steal 2nd to stay out of the DP.
  16. f*** yeah! And a better defensive SS for the bottom of the inning.
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 12, 2010 -> 09:25 PM) Good call here to PH for Alexei! Well done Ozzie Agreed
  18. Hawk and his premature ejaculations.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 12, 2010 -> 08:41 PM) Teahen *sigh*
