  1. Good news is that the Sox have been good at coming back. Bad news is that Samardzija is coming back out
  2. Gillaspie. What a joke.
  3. And there you go. Nice job, Jeff.
  4. good thing the bases were empty
  5. Good game. No more gift runs.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 7, 2015 -> 12:38 PM) Melky is just flat out horrible. He'll come around. His wife loves Chicago.
  7. I thought Noesi would get DFA'd after he totally f***ed up that great stab by LaRoche by slacking off on getting to first. To me, that was an opportunity to send a message.
  8. Don't you need Melky to come around if you really want a shot at the division or a WC?
  9. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 08:21 PM) Quite a tame celebration for that walk off. I think the Tigers claiming he swung the bat dampened it
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 07:59 PM) Please stop hitting it towards Iglesias this is a poor strategy. yet I love watching him play.
  11. Needle is most definitely pointing up
  12. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 06:56 PM) Tigers say what losing streak we get to play the White Sox. Just what the doctor ordered
  13. Beckham way too far away from bag
  14. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 05:43 PM) He should just quit hitting RH. Sandoval gave it up
  15. gotta find a way to get melky back on the juice w/o getting caught
  16. there's your lead, Q. Don't ask for more
  17. all right, let's not let Detroit off the deck.
  18. QUOTE (LDF @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 02:56 PM) i still think this signings except for 1 is Hahn's doing. my question is why hasn't they gelled??? they are vet's and not young players, something is not happening. You're making the assumption that there is enough talent to gel on this team, and if so, how much better do you think they should be? 5 or 6 games better? I think w/o the moves Hahn made over the winter this team is blowing away the competition for the #1 pick next season. He's bolstered a really shaky pen, added a couple of bats and one very schizophrenic starter. But I can't look at teams like KC and say, Yep, Sox can beat them. Not consistently, anyway. Sox just don't have the talent.
  19. Scott Merkin ‏@scottmerkin 3m3 minutes ago Hahn: "I feel we are in a spot right now where the arrow is starting to point up." I'm pretty sure if your head is up your butt, the needle is always pointing up.
  20. Excited about Montas.
  21. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jun 4, 2015 -> 06:08 PM) These are dumb generalisations. It's about the valuation of the player as a whole. Sanchez is not providing anywhere close to enough defence to make up for his completely horrendous offence. At the moment, bar an enormous offensive improvement, the White Sox are much better with Beckham at 2nd and Gillaspie at 3rd. Thanks!
  22. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 4, 2015 -> 06:06 PM) Tell that to Brian Anderson/Mackowiak in 2006....or Andruw Jones/Kotsay over Thome in 2010. this makes no sense, but thanks
  23. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 4, 2015 -> 05:59 PM) Let's be honest, it doesn't matter how good Sanchez's defense is if he's going to hit like a pitcher. I'm cool with giving him a few more weeks, but if he doesn't show something we'll have no other choice but to bring back Micah or give Beckham a shot. I gotta admit that this is where I agree with Hawk. If your team is struggling to score runs why sacrifice defense? I like Gordon at 3rd because Gillaspie is just too inconsistent.
