Aboz what in God's name is going on with MSU? As much as i'm a bit disappointed with the Illini, MSU fans must be really upset/pissed right now. This team is better than a 7-6 record in conference, on paper at least.

MSU will make the Elite 8, and i'd give them a decent shot at the final four, depending on who is in their bracket. Illinois should make the sweet 16, but i can't see us going any further. OSU probly sweet 16, but after that a good matchup could get them in, they have a lot of potential if everyone is clicking. I'd say MSU makes it or no one makes it. And i'd say MSU has a 35% chance to make it into the final four.

I was in Krush for three years...and it's nowhere near the 2nd best student section in the country. I'd say about 80% of Krush members don't know anything about basketball and are just there to be "tv whores." After all, what does wearing an orange wig/face paint/boa/glitter shirts/monkey costume/helmet/blue hands make the Assembly Hall an intimidating place to play? It doesn't.

So Dick Vitale just said that he and Coach K were talking on K's radio show today about how Bob Knight should be hired as the head coach at Indiana University. Um. Ok.

Some damn good games today, that's for sure. Canada commiting mass suicide as we speak.

Waited too long to play with any sense of urgency. A ton of stupid, undisciplined penalties didn't help the cause. Ugh, this is frustrating. I'm disappointed...damn.

God damn shorthanded goal. Inexcusable. I'll take us being down only a goal, 2-1, after one period. It could be much worse. We played much better the 2nd half of the period. Gotta keep that up and man up on these guys in the defensive zone. The first goal was just brutal coverage by everyone.

2 interesting stats: - We've given up 38 3s in our last 4 Big Ten losses - In conference, we have outscored our opponents by 74 points in the first half. We have been outscored by our opponents by 5 points in the second half.

So i've declared today some sort of holiday...i just don't know what to name it. It involves skipping all my morning classes and watching all 4 quarterfinal games on 2 tvs. I've opened up the apartment to anyone that wants to watch games today. Should be sweet.

So many chances to get it done, and didn't. Also, i don't know how much i buy the "what they were ranked when you played them" argument. You can only take it so far, you know?
