If they get a big enough lead, a swoon wont matter. This sox team isnt capable of winning 10 or 12 in a row.

In 2000, we used a huge first half to build up a lead in the division that was so big that we couldn't blow it, unless we were the Detroit Tigers. As late in the year as August 1, we were 11.5 up on Cleveland. If you blow an 11.5 game lead in two months....then you are really s***ty.
In other words, the 1995 Angels were really s***ty
If the Royals get a double digit game lead at any point in the year....they'll win it.
The biggest problem is, the twins and sox give the royals a little more confidence with each passing day. Losing 3 of 4 to the rays and tigers is unacceptable.
