If they lose these next two games, the seasons over. If you still think theres a chance then, lol uhhh thats your problem. uhh... quit while your behind.... whatever.... this season is not over until we are mathmatically out of it.... i will remain hopeful LOL!!!! Dude ive been watching baseball long enough to know, if a teams in a pennant race at the start of september, and they get swept by the worst team in the history of baseball, and they have a much more difficult schedule than the other two teams, uhhh theyre going nowhere. If you havent, i suggest you just keep watching.

LOL well, im getting closer and closer to that, but i havent been all season. And rex, im quite sure youd remember so you could hold it against me.

Isn't he like 13-5 Yes, but they have come out and said they aren't happy with him right now. He hasn't pitched well lately. His pitching coach bashed him saying he isn't doing the work necessary. Players can do or not do lots of things in practice or in between starts or off the field that affect their performance on the field. If the Yankees feel Wells is taking the lazy/easy road, and starts pitching like it, why not send him to the bullpen? I think this is much more a move based on sending him and the rest of the team a message than money. What does it tell the rest of the team if you keep running a guy out there that isn't doing what the club asks of him? The players know it. The coaches know it. A manager sometimes has to send a message to his team by making an example out of someone. I think that is the case here. Excuse us, we are just used to having a manager without balls.

I thinks its best right now, but the sox treated Cotts like complete s***. Throw him to the wolves, watch him fail, then send his ass away. YEAH that has to do a lot for his confidence.

Im pretty sure its gonna be Paniqua or however the hell you spell that lol

Sorry couldnt get the link to work but the story is on chicagosports.com

If we dont win the next two games in Detroit, you can kiss this season goodbye. We have too much of an uphill climb, as it is. Minnesotas schedule is easy from here. The sox better win the next two.

Me when i think of who is running this team......... :puke

Playoff teams dont do that, other than that, im at a loss for words. :puke

KEEP your fantasies to yourself. There are kids here.

Outed myself? Dude let me explain something, i dont care what any of these people think. You would think by now that youd realize that. I dont care as long as its true. What i do care about is something false being said. As for WSC, ive always gotten along with him. BE GOOD is weird too and hes one of my favorite people here. As for you "covering it up" well thanks if you were truly intending that. The only person who i care to know my intentions of that post was wsc, because of course i dont want him to die. By deleting my post, you made it seem as if i wished him to die, too, and i DID NOT.
-
By the way, on the other thread when i said its unanimous, i DID NOT mean that i agreed he should die. I meant that we all think hes weird. Cw for trying to include me in that.

Ive b****ed about him of late. I challenge anyone to call me a JM bashed because i am not. We are in a pennant race and i cannot tolerate this team underperforming any longer. Ive blamed the players all season long, calling them mentally weak. Well maybe, but its time to show leadership or get a new leader.
-
I dont know about anyone else but ive blamed very little on Jerry Manuel this season. I dotn think hes a good manager, but moslty the players are responsible. However, 10-15 games a year are or can be decided by the manager. The players have cost us wins, and the manager has cost us wins. Overall we have great talent, with little mental strength and leadership. To stick up for Manuel is wrong, as is the constant bashing of him. I just think JM should have left a good thing alone. MB wanted to pitch, the team is rolling, hes a potential ace, let him go.

I know you are but what am i?

Yeah probably. But as many posts as ive had lately, s*** i might as well................. And yes i get your joke, i just dont care, but thanks for the effort.

Buehrle should have went yesterday against the Yankees. My Lord, he gave up 8 runs to the offensive juggernaut we call the Detroit Tigers. Imagine what he would have done against the Bronx Bombers. I think all the JM screwed up talk can go away now. Not a good outing in the least, behind hitters all night. Now we've got to pray for a split in the next 2 to go 3-3 on the roadtrip and get the hell back home. The Tigers........sheeeesh. How's that? If youre praying for a split of the next two games, youve given up. Playoff team dont pray to win 1 of 3 against maybe the worst team in the history of baseball. Anything less than winning the next two will be unacceptable. I agree it is unacceptable. Toatally unacceptable. But the fact of the matter is, we suck on the road and we have unexplainable trouble against the Tigers. 9-8 against a team that has a grand total of 34 wins on the entire season is unacceptable. Its enough to make me vomit, which i may just do........ :puke
