  1. I fully expect the sox and twins to win the majority of their remaning games. 7 games is a lot to make up, but it happens.
  2. You and everyone else. I remember him being the man in a few fantasy drafts. Its too bad he never reached his potential. He was a freakin stud in this league........ overshadowed Tejada... I have a ball signed by both Grieve and Tejada....... I wanted two separate balls, but when i got the one, I was disappointed Tejada was on the same ball as Grieve...... What an idiot I turned out to be. LOL Speaking of Tejada, what the hell happened to him? He was supposed to be the 2nd best SS in baseball.
  3. Dude so what? You are just wasting time here. We may be fans, but we arent blind. When the team is underperforming, we have the right to vent that, and that we do.
  4. Thats not true bro. I know lots of people, including me, who felt the sox were done. That doesnt mean in not a HUGE sox fan. I have lived and breathed sox baseball for 30 years.

  6. For the sox to win it all, Koch performing like he knows how, is a MUST. Im counting on it. Ive seen this kid DOMINATE.
  7. Dude, people get frustrated and say s***. THats what message boards are for. At the tiime, they feel the sox are done, that doesnt mean they arent true fans.
  8. i think Koch will be the mvp of the playoffs, i really do. Just because others dont agree means nothing to me. I dont know why you care.
  9. Colon is not a rookie, nor is he wild.
  10. The point is he can pitch out of trouble. Thats a great sign. Did I forget to mention that a long time ago? LOL You did, but as you know, there is a WORLD of difference doing it on the major league level. Yeah, I have seen a Major League game or two.... Where at? WHat do you do for a living anyway?
  11. You people? Ive backed Colon from day one. Dude if you dont like the site or the people, choose not to come. Its fairly simple no?

  14. Uhh human nature? Where do you live, mars?
  15. Okay lets just get to the facts. How did he do in the 6th? End of conversation.
  16. Or the twins. Their schedule is very favorable.
  17. This kid isnt gonna last past 5 or 6 innings. Hes too wild.
  18. It was 87. He was wild, we got 5 innings out of him. Why push it?
  19. Rex, This was my 1st extended look at Cotts. Im still leary of his control, but i saw a pitcher with good stuff and loads of potential. Im not sure hes gonna be a #1 or even # 2, but he looks to be a 12-15 game winner for years to come. Im gonna have to say, based on what i saw today, you were right.
  20. It was a bad move. If cotts had stayed out for the entire 6th, we may have lost. Give him credit for taking him out when he did, but it was 2 batters too late. Anyone could see Cotts was done. We dont have time to be worrying about stretching a rookie out, we are in a pennant race.
  21. Not true. The entire situation would have different. Also, i believe he allowed the hit with 2 outs in the 9th. If the ump had made the proper call, that batter would never had come to bat. There is no possible way to predict what would have happened if that guy was called safe. Maybe Zambrano pitches a different way with the no-no in the ninth and gives up 5 runs and he loses. he gave up 2 hits..... bottom line. Thats exactly why your orginal statement was totally wrong. You have no idea what would have happened, so the point wasnt moot.
  22. Hey I know we won and all, but what the HELL was Jerry thinking when he let Cotts come out for the 6th? Before the inning started i said they should take Cotts out. He had dodged several bullets, his pitch count was up, and the same s*** happened in his last start. You take the guy out there. Let him remember that he held a good team to 1 run in 5 innings. JM brings him out in the 6th and of course the first two runners get on. DUH? Thank god Sully pitched us outta that jam. PS Im not a JM basher, but this man really needs a clue.

  24. Yeah its a given you give the pitcher the benefit of the doubt there. I have NO idea what that ump was thinking.
  25. That was horrible. I feel so badly for him.......
