  1. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 05:11 PM) Jeter just saw more pitches in that AB than Timo will see all night. Ok, I swear that's my last Timo bash for the night. Prove me wrong Timo! I was thinking the same thing
  2. QUOTE(3 BeWareTheNewSox 5 @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 03:43 PM) Lineup changed, ESPN Radio saying that PK is out because of his back, Blum is in Garland needs to step up tonite and show he's the Ace of this staff, because Buehrle sure hasn't, and with this lineup we desperately need it. I just hope this injury to PK isn't serious or we are seriously f***ed!!!!!!!!
  3. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 06:16 PM) For the first time all year, I'm changing the channel. This ship is sinking, and it's gathering more water day by day. I'm with you man. Later
  4. Ozzie needs to get Burhrle out of here, Give his arm some rest. Put Adkins in and let him get hammered, this game is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO over!
  5. QUOTE(tony72 @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 06:13 PM) I almost hope the lead goes down ...so Kenny and Jerry realize that this team needs help and snaps out of their complacency... By that time it will be too late. KW : f*** the FARM we need help GD, or else!!!!!!
  6. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 06:10 PM) Wait until we face Mussina, Randy, Radke, Santana, Silva, and Felix Hernandez next week. Belive it or not I'm only worried about facing Santana and Hernandez. Our pitching needs to step back up, because our offense is not going to blow anyone out
  7. THANK GOD WE HAVE A HUGE LEAD IN THE DIVISION!!
  8. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 05:51 PM) yeah that was painful to watch. This team has been painful to watch lately
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 05:43 PM) And we haven't exactly done well against the better teams this season. I've finally come to except the fact that this is the team we have Do or Die. I would have loved for KW to pick up another BIG LH bat, and either stud starter or closer. But unfortunately were going to have to make do w/ what we got.
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 05:41 PM) Well, we're f***ed. Another run or two for the Twins, and this game is really a long shot to win. At least Hawk seems a little quieter today. He must be taking the day off from Sox Fellatio 101. I already counted this game as a loss before it even started. I just hope The Tribe loses tonite.
  11. This is what hapeens when you give Santana an early lead
  12. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 05:39 PM) If Yard you mean a popup. Then the entire team is going to go yard. Your right that's what i meant
  13. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 05:38 PM) Dye is going yard here!! Or at least trying too
  14. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 05:29 PM) Have you seen ours? If both of these guys have to throw pitches over the plate, Buehrle is a lot more likely to struggle. I agree that Santana has more of an advantage than Buehrle, but i like our lineups chances much better against Santana w/ a small zone, as long as they don't flail too much at junk.
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 05:29 PM) Have you seen ours? If both of these guys have to throw pitches over the plate, Buehrle is a lot more likely to struggle. GAme Over
  16. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 05:29 PM) Same old story. Rowand sure has been whiffing an awful lot lately........But like Hawk says "Where would Griffey play?" :headshake
  17. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 05:27 PM) No it doesnt. Buehrle needs a bigger zone much more than Santana does. Santana will still K guys even if the zone is 5 inches big. Have you seen Minny's lineup though??
  18. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 05:23 PM) Teeny, tiny zone tonight. Bodes well for us.
