  1. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 02:01 PM) Uribe needs to learn to back off of that. Let the OF catch it. Our communication on defense has been terrible this year
  2. QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 01:50 PM) Are the Royals considering contending LOL Burgos is BAD!!! Huston Street isnt lights out either
  3. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 01:49 PM) No offense to K.C., but with K.C. up next, and a save situation here against the team we're chasing, this is Bobby's game. The only way I'd leave Thronton in there is if we score another run here
  4. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 01:47 PM) The ball just flies off of his bat! Thanks Leyland for putting in Jones. Yes, Thank you very much! I'm very surprised he didnt leave Zumaya in, a 3 run lead looks unsurmountable now
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 01:37 PM) MacDougal's in, and it looks like Mackowiak is in LF. Oz has been managing much better lately
  6. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 01:35 PM) Ugh...not a smart AB by PK. He tried to do too much. he must have been looking for the Curve in that sequence, not that he would hit it anyway
  7. another one down the middle and PK fouls it back.
  8. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 01:27 PM) I do think this seals Freddy starting the next inning. Only if we get this 6th run, would i contemplate that
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 01:25 PM) Pablo! Good job Ozzie...now put Mackowiak in LF. If Pablo is in LF next inning I'll $hit a brick! QUOTE(tealeafreaderii @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 01:26 PM) psst... pods isn't black. or RH
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 01:22 PM) We could always use Iguchi in this spot. against a tough LH?
  11. I'd bring in Pablo here, and Put Mack in LF
  12. Great Job Brian!! Now PLEASE get him in Pods!!!!!
  13. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 01:16 PM) It's amazing how he does this. I'll be the first to admit I overreact to his bad starts. The main reason he gets away with alot of mistakes, IMO, is he throws everything up there, and varies speeds a ton. If he only had 2 or 3 pitches he'd be long gone by now.
  14. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 01:15 PM) 7 innings and three runs is more than I would have asked for out of Freddy. Not pretty, but it worked. Now Sweaty Freddy, hit the shower. I'm very pleased with the results, but its definitely time to turn it over to the BP now. I'd go Macdougal for Ivan and Maggs, then Thronton for Guillen, and Jenks to close it out in the 9th
