  1. FUKKING BRILLIANT GAME BOYS!!!!!
  2. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 12:08 PM) What exactly does Pods do well. Take called 3rd strikes?
  3. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 12:05 PM) For as good as Hawk/DJ have been recently, they've been real bad today. Hawk's been slupring this team more than usual today (Cooper, Pods). Definitely not one of their better games. They probably both got lit up last night
  4. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 12:05 PM) If Pierre leaves Chicago, maybe we can get the Cubs to take Pods next year. The cubs absolutely love players that have already had their own good year and are ready to ride off into the sunset with a few more big pay days. If i were KW i'd try my best to find a way to get Carl Crawford
  5. Hawk's really butchering some names today
  6. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 12:02 PM) I got a laugh out of DJ saying how our first two batters hit the ball hard this inning. Since when is bunting a ball hard a good thing?
  7. QUOTE(CWSOX45 @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 11:59 AM) Jim it's time to go deep.. Were due for a bomb
  8. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 11:56 AM) Lets hope we can get a few runs and win this. It would be very disappointing to lose a game where the Blue Jays only had one strong inning, and we left numerous guys on base. If were a playoff caliber team, then we have to find a way to win this one
  9. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 11:49 AM) Manuel needs to stop messing up our Sunday games. Oh wait, he is gone. I just read an article on Whitesox.com abut the injuries the Sox have been having, and Oz is quoted as saying he plans to rest the regulars periodicly to help their "minor" injuries. So be prepared for similar lineups in the next month or so...........If i were OZ i would go Petal to the metal, we cant afford to give away games now, unless aguy is seriously injured and cant play, or is at risk to seriously worsen an injury then fine, but if their just minor injuries then play through it.
  10. This game is looking alot like friday's but with opposite results
  11. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 11:45 AM) Ran out of an inning, nice Not thrilled with that idea. I would rather ROB bunted him over and hope for a basehit
  12. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 11:44 AM) 86 ptiches for Burnett entering the inning. Hmmm.... Be nice if we could get that over 100 before the innings over, and stomp on their BP.
  13. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 11:41 AM) Nice 1-2-3 for Jose. GET. RUNS. i wouldnt say it was nice. Wells hit a bullet to Anderson, and Glaus JUST missed a BOMB. HOPEFULLY, JOse can get throught the 6th unscathed, and then we can go to the BP.
  14. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 11:40 AM) For anyone who saw the replay....could Dye have caught the double by Rios down the line? hard to say, it kept slicing away from him.
  15. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 11:35 AM) I hope the schedule makers are merciful on us next year and omit Sunday games from the Sox schedule. This blows. If baseball used the football schedule we'd be like 2-19 by now
  16. 2 quality pitches in a row for Jose. Keep it going!
  17. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 11:30 AM) Let's go AJ, that is a huge run. especially after Jose's piss poor inning QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 11:30 AM) Ortiz hits #40 to give the Red Sox a 3-2 lead in the 5th. ridiculous. Anytime Ortiz decides to go on the DL is fine with me
  18. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 11:24 AM) What is Jose's post-DL ERA? It's around 5 isn't it? Whatever it is, I'm disappointed. Just when a couple other guys get it going, Jose sucks it up a bit. We cant seem to get every starter in a groove for an extended period
  19. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 11:21 AM) We now don't have a starter with an ERA under 3.70 What a bad year for the Sox starters. Quote of the year
  20. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 11:20 AM) He looks awful. He just isn't consistent with all these arm angles. Might I ask, is he another pitcher who's lost his velocity? He's been around 90 mph all game, with a few pitches in the 94 range. Earlier in the year, he was 95 a lot of the time. He had no chance. However, this inning was just another example of how our outfield defense continues to give no support to our pitchers. Jose does look awful today, hopefully he can turn it around quick, or the BP is going to have to win this one for us
  21. way too many mistakes by Jose today
