  1. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 06:08 PM) I'm having trouble letting go of yesterday's loss coupled with the tigers loss. Tonight we could be within 6 1/2. OK I'm over it, thanks JD. I had a bad feeling Jenks was going to blow it, he was due.
  2. Gload's Good. Too bad he cant play LF
  3. 10+ pitches and a gift run later.......5-3 Sox
  4. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 05:59 PM) Nice side armed throw by Uribe. Oh yeah. Almost forgot our pitchers have no ability to pitch over an error. It's becoming academic and sickening
  5. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 05:53 PM) Crede does look tired lately, but doesn't he historically hit well in KC? I dont see why he would be tired, he had 4 days off from the all-star break, and a couple more days off since. If anything, he's either aching or ill, or just in a slump
  6. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 05:51 PM) Cintron hit an absolutely bomb for a 2 run shot. It was ALMOST Thome-esque
  7. Pods gets on, know lets see if he can still steal a base
  8. QUOTE(DABearSoX @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 05:43 PM) too bad I got the old ass KC annoucers tonight....and this damn commercial they play every five minutes I know, these announcers sound like their in a funeral home
  9. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 05:42 PM) It was the right thing to do. Unless we could have acquired another leadoff hitter/left fielder to replace Pods. Soriano looked good to me, but i guess Bowden wanted WAY too much
  10. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 05:42 PM) Gload saves a bad throw from Uribe and we turn two. for some reason, Uribe has had a tough time turning the dp this year.
  11. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 05:37 PM) This is deja vu of the Pirates game we lost. This is becoming deja vu for every game. Every time we get a lead we seem to give up runs...........VERY frustrating indeed......... and Jose hits German, This $hit is becoming BEYOND FRUSTRATING!!!!!!
  12. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 05:28 PM) I like the 3 runs, but that's about the 5th time this season where we hit into a double play in the first inning of a game in which we had the chance to really open it up. Hopefully Jose gets us back in the dugout with a 3 run lead, and we keep getting runners. I agree. We had a chance to REALLY open it up for Contreras, and hopefully for him, to pitch as long as possible, and give the BP a rest . Oh well, gotta shut em down here
  13. we gotta get at least 1 more here
