7/24 Game Thread: Twins vs. Sox
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 07:43 PM) And even then we have to find a way to score a run against Santana. That's why tonight's game was so huge. It's almost an automatic loss when we see Johan. This game was the pivotal one IMO, i figured we'd lose tomorrow and win on Wednesday, but since it's very likely were going to lose this one, we need Jose to shut em down tomorrow, and I'm sure 1 guy will hit at least a solo dinger off Santana, we usually do, but that seems to be it.

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 07:40 PM) Tracey got sent down. I'm now starting to understand why the Red Sox traded Riske. Oops i didnt hear that, I also forgot about Macdougal

QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 07:32 PM) wow...this team is SO bad right now. And OZ's BIG mouth is helping right now either. He needs to worry more about getting W's then Revenge or his own Ego.

7/24 Game Thread: Twins vs. Sox
I hate to say it, but this team may have been an abberation last year, because it's looking more and more like the 1999-2004 teams. Great 1st half, Crap 2nd half. I hope I'm wrong, and they go on a hot streak and coast into the playoffs, but I'm starting to lose more hope everyday.

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 07:11 PM) Only problem is Bmac wouldn't be ready to start until September; late August at the earliest. BMac is far from what cures the Sox.

QUOTE(atrain081 @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 07:07 PM) Javy's line: 6.0 IP, 8 H, 5 ER looks familiar I'm really pissed that Oz 1st off let him pitch to Morneau, and 2nd that he let him start the 7th..........Lack of execution, Oz's piss poor managing, inconsistent pitching, and everyone swinging from the heels is why this team has sucked lately. They need to get their crap together FAST. Or make a BIG move, ANYTHING KW!

This offense better produce IF we make it to the playoffs, because it's becoming quite clear our pitching is mediocre

This losing crap against good teams is starting to get REAL old

Could Kenny make a huge deal?
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 23, 2006 -> 09:47 PM) Fields, Pods and Uribe for A-Rod Lance Broadway, Alex Woodson (heh) and Robert Valido for Carl Crawford Do it KW! I dont think the yanks would want Uribe, considering they already have Jeter. And in no way would they trade A-Rod right now with Sheffield and Matsui out, UNLESS they got a premium 3rd baseman in return. Which is probably unlikely. Therefore i dont see him getting traded at all.

QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Jul 23, 2006 -> 01:12 PM) id rather not take the risk I see nothing wrong with leaving him in there, he had a 5 run lead. But as long as we win, i could care less

QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 23, 2006 -> 01:05 PM) I think he's fine...he's just facing a pitcher that he's struggled against this year. He's hit a few homers off of Radke lately, keep him in for tomorrow. I agree to keep him in there tomorrow, in fact i want to see all the starters in there for every game against the Twinkies

QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 23, 2006 -> 12:54 PM) A little off topic here, but on the radio the other day, McCarthy said it would take 15-20 days for him to get his arm strength up to 100 pitches if needed. The way our starters have pitched lately, looks like we can leave him in the BP for now
