Clemens should be bottled. That is all.

Clement is overrated. -

Uribe doesn't have a bad back, he is faster and has a quicker swing. Thus a brighter future. Both are dumb, hitting IQ-wise, though. -

First come the foul liners into the seats, like yesterday. Then come the soft line-outs to RF. Then come the gappers and one-hoppers. Then again, he's fooled us plenty in the past, you know, let's wait until he gets back to .260 first. -

Is it me, or has Uribe leveled his swing just a tad and is finally letting the ball get a little deeper on him? The timing isn't there yet - witness the numerous hard-hit foul balls down RF line last night, but I'll take anything I can get from that doofus. -

Did you think that dog could actually play 2B? Between Crede, Uribe, Iguchi and Konerko.... we don't do well with pop-ups/FB, to put it mildly. -
October baseball's too crazy to ever just cross a team out like that. Rememer that Cabrera start in Baltimore where we scored 8 runs or so without a HR? Who knows, these schmucks may repeat the feat in October - in spite of their best efforts to screw things up I'd much rather Sawks, A's go into Postseason looking past the "overrated" White Sox. You just know our guys perform better as underdogs. Much better.

Three woids: it's over. ALC race, that is. So don't be such a scoreboard-watching pussy. Seriously. -
Do you see Owenes as able to get on base at .400 clip? I know his LF skills are fine.

Cornea doesn't do the actual "processing" of visual stimuli.

Stupid/intellectually-disingenuous pro-roid rhetoric that you hear so much in bars and whatnot. Other than becoming stronger, quicker, fresher and arguably (HGH) better able to see the seams... No, there are no benefits to juicing. Players are stupid. And the huge post-roidal drop off in production is purely coincidental. Right. -
We better keep Konerko, his numbers are just as...

Tracey is a good option. Cheap, too. -
Meh, Ozzie's "reasons" are usually as arbitrary as they are back-firey. The man is a moron - just look and listen to him, then watch his manage. Luckily, the pitching is manager-proof at this moment, so we're well positioned to win. But I am sure he'll run the arms into the ground sooner than later.
-
Well, this is your chance to get enlightened. Tomorrow, I'll be somewhere else.
-
DH/LF merely means he's a DH/emergency LF.
-
Wouldn't have it any other way.
-
Durham is a DH/LF at this point, not a 2B. That's one. The current incarnation of Griffey will get owned by quality pitching, I guarantee you that. We have enough of those in the line-up as it is. Ray will get on base and he can still score on a double, regardless of the situation or who's on the mound. That's two. SF can't rid of Durham fast enough, will pick up some money, so he will come cheap for what he brings to the table, still. Griffey's price, in money and in talent Cincy ownership will be satisfied with, is prohibitive. That's three-through-40 Mill. I know people hear 'Griffey' and the panty-creaming commences. Weigh all the pros and cons, and you'll see why he's not the panacea.

Face-wise, she is below average (nose, closely-spaced eyes, chin). Body-wise, she is a little above average when eating. But you drink beer (sp?); what would you want with that tight b'tay, to begin with?

If he disappears in October again, you let him go make his 10 Mill per elsewhere without giving it a second thought. If he swings a hot stick in October, then you give it a second thought and you let him go make his 12-13 Mill per elsewhere. -
Given that "Scottie" is only average defensively, I think we'll manage.

It's just crazy enough to work! -
Still healthier than Junior. And assuming Giants still plan on picking a few mill of his '06 salary, much less of a (financial) risk going forward. Did I mention you won't have to give up MaCarthy or Young for him, either? I think I dided. With Podsednik's OBP/confidence in the dumpster, Ray-Ray is an ideal choice either as a lead-off guy, or if Pods comes back better than ever, as a #2, with Gooch letting loose in the 3-hole.
-
Screw Griffey. Just another bopper who will get owned in the playoffs, Eric Chavez-style. His contract and injury history as well as what it'll take to get him don't quite blow my mind, either. We need OBP. Lots of it. Whether Rickey Henderson, Ray Durham, Mother Goose, I don't care.

Nah, beer is gay.

You want a kicker? I am not even that big of a Gload fan. If he fails on any kind of long-term basis, I wouldn't bat an eyelash if they launched his ass.
