What the hell was wrong with the talent this year..? The Sox knew Loaiza would implode? Knew Frank & Maggs would go down with injuries? Knew Crede would stink worse than 6 month old grouper left on a Louisiana dock? Those 4 things didn't happen.. the Sox win the division. Without a 5th starter, too.

What was the Marlins payroll last year..? What was the Angels payroll the year before? And what is the Red Sox (who will likely be eliminated next) payroll...? How about the Mets? And Baltimore..? As well.. according to the financial increase the Sox did make.. they would have gone beyond the $12 million profit from the previous year by $7 million if Colon had signed. That means the payroll would have gone up $19 million last year.. How much is good enough for you..?? :banghead Ouch..

Oh get over it.. Colon refused the $$ and it was GUARANTEED. That fat slob - but awesome inning eater.. - walked away from here on his own. I wanted him to stay probably more than anyone else here - because he's a gamer - but him not here is not the Sox fault. Not one bit.

If Maggs was going to be OK Carl never would have been brought it, and that's a "rumor" I believe 1500000% in. Garcia $$ was carryover from '03. Jose was in the budget from '03 (not the carryover.. but in the plan). And guys.. please don't argue over this crap. It's October... lot's of time.

I'm guessing if the Sox made a $12 million profit to payroll in '03.. that they made at least that much in '04. There's money there.. it'll be spent.

I don't see Jerry and most of the others being a part of that type of embarrassment.. but who knows. I think they'd sell in a heart beat. Most of the investors - to the shagrin of several here :rolly - are in this to make $$.. the second the Sox start losing any they'll agree to sell, IMO.

It does matter. Perhaps you should read up on what happened because it doesn't support this argument. He claims he was ganged up on because of favortism, but in reality he was ganged up on because he posted a BS lie, and was called on it.

If this happened.. my guess is that they'd sell the team and it would be moved.
