Toddler Weighs 55 Pounds At 15 Months Boy Growing Nearly 5 Pounds Per Month A 15-month-old child in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia weighs 55 pounds and is gaining nearly 5 pounds a month, according to a Local 6 News report. Luka Meliksishvili has been rapidly gaining weight since his birth, according to his parents. He already carries the weight of a 6-year-old child, Local 6 News reported Monday night. Luka's mother, Eka Meliksishvili, said doctors in Tbilisi have examined her son and advised her not to be too concerned. They said Luka may be able to shed his excess weight as he grows older. Than he should kick Sandy in the arse. Today on MJ&H Sandy said Maggs was offered what was reported he was offered. I can understand Maggs wanting to keep it quiet. That's his nature. But his teamate outed him.

Fan.. err.. Queen.. Great point.. however if he can get guaranteed $$ somewhere else is it wrong to take it? If your boss says maybe we'll pay you IF you do a good job.. but another offer comes along and tells you we'll pay you no matter what.. which would you take?

I dunno... you see how many here previously had been riding the "sign Maggs no matter what" bandwagon.? I don't think most Sox fans post/read on boards or even read or pay close enough attention to the details to take his comments into consideration. I can't tell you how many people I've run into that say "if they trade Maggs than that's it. I will no longer be a fan!"

That's the way I understood it back in February. Which is why I question even bothering to offer him anything. To hear him say no? To make it easier when they trade him? So the fans don't hate this organization more than they already do...?
