QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 03:33 PM) So why would you be confident against a Wisconsin team that makes great line up changes and plays its strengths well? If anything that is a match up nitemare for the Jayhawks. AS Chisoxfna says, those are your top teams....Wisconsin grinds it out, but they appear soft at times, which will be their ulitmate downfall. That and they rely on Tucker way too much. -

No its makes perfect sense for this jayhawk team. They never get outplayed, just coach Giggles does not change anything during the game and gets outcoacehd. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 03:31 PM) But with a 10% shooting margin advantage, you should have won by far more points. The reason you did not was because of second chance shots. 29-65 30-56 They shot 9 more times and had 5 less ft's attempts, but still kept it close. Recipe for a loss usually. We also blew a 7 point lead with under a minute. This was also pre Sherron Collins days, this kid is our best player by far. -

QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 03:26 PM) You won by 2 points. Also Noah had 17, plus you gave up 17 offensive rebounds. Im not going to lie, if you outshoot the team 54% to 44% Id hope you would win. The game did go into overtime...giving them plenty of time to get plenty of o rebounds. -

QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 03:18 PM) So have I, and I think the Big 12 is vastly over rated. We shall see come tourney time, old scores and results dont matter when the real games count. Hey maybe a return to the glory of round 2...god damn you self. -

QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 03:16 PM) KU would have no chance against Wisconsin. The only type of team that can beat Wisconsin is disciplined on both ends of the court. As for A&M beating KU, thats like saying Indiana beat Wisconsin. Does that mean IU is better than KU? No it just means that: 1) Kansas is not that great of a team. Top 5 teams almost never lose at home, especially when they are the higher ranked team. The only reason for this is because Self is not a very good coach. KU has the talent to go undefeated at home every year, they just do not have the coaching. 2) IU is one of the pre-eminent programs in the last 50 years. 5 national titles, to win at Assembly hall you have to flat out beat Indiana. Wisconsin did not play well enough to over come that. Now who as A&M beaten outside of the Big 12? I see a loss to a bad LSU team, a loss to UCLA, the rest of the ranked teams they have played have been all Big 12 opponents. Does not really address the argument of why Big 12 teams should be getting respect. Its clear you have not watched a single Badger game. Otherwise you would know the answers: Sherron: Mike Flowers Julian Wright: Krabbenhoft, Landry. Both of those guys are not much better than players that Wisconsin has already played and handled. How would you stop the flex offense? How would you keep your players out of foul trouble? Wisconsin has 3-4 guys who can play legimiate C position, hows Sacha Kohn? We have Kaun, Arthur, and Jackson along with Julian. Our Center depth is just fine. -

I think Self is actually doing a half decent job the last 2 games. He actually stops smiling and is showing some real emotion. KU also beat Florida on a neutral court. -

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 03:12 PM) A&M is better than both Wiscy and tOSU. KU is the 4th best out of that bunch though imo. A&M is damn good. Rush could shut down Tucker and no one else on that team is a real weapon. we could just guard the 3's Who on Wiscy is going to stop Sherron and Julian?? -

QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 03:11 PM) The Jayhawk team was a lot more talented than this Illini squad. True, at least this illini squad will be bette than next year's team. -

I think KU would dominate your badgers, they dont impress me at all. A&M beat Kansas, so how does that help your little prediction. -
QUOTE(RME JICO @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 02:52 PM) So the better question is, if the Yankees and Red Sox will both be that good, what Division does the Wild Card come out of? you better say AL East or ESPN will burn your house down. I predict Jae Kruk You, former cubs pitchers will have more wins than Wood or Prior combined.

Big 12 has two good teams Big 10 has two good teams. the rest suck in both leagues. Kstate also has Bob Huggins who is much better view than Cranky McCranky. -

Kstate also lost their best player for the entire year. I would give the nod to K-State, at least they beat a top 25 team on the road. -
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 02:46 PM) I love our bullpen and bench. That being said, everything is dependant on the starting pitching. Floyd and Danks someone step up ..........please

I think the bullpen is the most positive thing on this team... I mean they have lots of potential.

QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 02:01 PM) That's because Kansas actually had a good coach at the time ;-). Kansas also had "slightly" more talent than this Illini squad. cant argue with the coach part. -
Can we talk about classic WWF wrestlers....that would be great. Ill start with Koko B Ware

QUOTE(Brian @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 01:45 PM) Doesn't sound like an excuse, think he was just saying. If that is so..my bad!!!!! Injuries are a part of the game, KU got to the finals with Jeff Graves at Power forward and Kirk Hinrich playing on one leg. -
