  1. QUOTE (The Bones @ Mar 20, 2009 -> 05:25 PM) You heard it here first. Jimbo's Drinker guarantees an Elite 8 run for the Jayhawks.
  2. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 20, 2009 -> 05:20 PM) Did you see Chris Wright? Dude is a beast. Have fun with him. Am I speaking Spanish?? I have not once said I expect a victory. All I know is that Ben Woodside on North Dakota State Tech.com is a f***in baller.
  3. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 20, 2009 -> 05:16 PM) Don't sleep on Dayton (I picked them to lose to WV, but didn't feel good about it at all). I do follow quite a bit of A-10 ball. Dayton causes a ton of problems for teams defensively with their length/athleticism. They're also very deep. You don't see me saying its an easy victory.
  4. QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 20, 2009 -> 05:07 PM) If MSU can get past BC first. you mean USC.
  5. QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 20, 2009 -> 05:01 PM) West Virginia losing really opens up the bracket for Kansas to make the Elite 8. I guess Michigan State is a cakewalk for Kansas. Kansas is by no means a very good team, Sherron Collins wanted to give me a sports related hernia today. If he incorporates the rest of the team, we are very good. If he plays like his still in AAU, we suck.
  6. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Mar 20, 2009 -> 04:30 PM) lol They had 4 seeds above 7, which means those 4 should have won their game. The only "upset" was an 8/9 game. If Missouri, KU or OU had lost it would have been the biggest upset so far in this tournament. Not to mention of the other 4 games only 2 were against power conferences (Minnesota and Tenn) and the Tenn game came down to the final seconds. For the most part the top 3 big 12 teams have pretty easy draws for the first 2 rounds, so we will see what happens in the sweet 16. The Big 12 has to get 3 teams in the sweet 16 or else its a failure compared to their seeding. It would be different if the Big 12 was seeded like the Big 10, only having 1 seed above a 5. Im playing the world's smallest violin for the Big 10. I was just stating a fact.
  7. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 20, 2009 -> 10:54 AM) Whoops. I think they may have answered your question last night. haha Game Over!!
  8. god that felt like the Arizona game, very depressing....I thought they would pull it out. Alex Legion needs to go back to Kentucky.
  9. As I said Pittmann and Abrams would destroy.
  10. No Chance, Pittman is going to take a dump on all your big men. Abrams is gonna shoot lights out.
  11. I have set up an auction style fantasy league. I love this drafting method as it creates a tougher drafting atmosphere. If anyone is interested in this league, pm me and ill invite you. It is alot of fun.
  12. QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Mar 16, 2009 -> 02:35 PM) Gus Johnson will be at the games in Minneapolis! woohooo, KU will be there too
  13. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 16, 2009 -> 08:50 PM) I'm having a really hard time picking a winner between BC/USC, Utah/Arizona. flip a coin
  14. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Mar 16, 2009 -> 08:55 AM) Whats the big deal with complaining about this? Think it's stupid - don't watch. For students at these schools and the kids playing in them they probably feel it's a big deal. I honestly don't understand complaints about this. This tournament in no way affects the NCAA or NIT tournaments, so what's the harm. Personally, i'm looking forward to this for one reason: to hopefully see Seth Curry and Liberty play for the first time. Based on their freshmen class and their incoming class, they could be a pretty decent mid-major in a year or two. Aside from that I dont care at all so I probably wont watch once Liberty is done Where do you plan on watching this?
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 14, 2008 -> 06:55 PM) I'm on the record in saying Kevin Dillard will be the best player in SIU's history. How is that working out so far? not bad i see
  16. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 16, 2009 -> 12:55 AM) Very true. Another thing to keep in mind is the definition of "the 34 best teams" when keeping in mind how the at large process works. To some people, especially when you get to the last couple/few at large teams, they just want to take the best team available. And to me, Arizona is better than Creighton, St. Mary's, San Diego State (who they beat by 13), and Penn State (who isn't in because of their awful OOC schedule) I agree, I am sick of the "experts" screaming about teams left out. Arizona is in a power conference and got a great matchup with KU and took care of business. I will stand behind putting in a Big conference team over a smaller conference team.
  17. ....and the fact they scheduled a special game just to show off to the commitee this week. pompous idiots.
  18. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Mar 14, 2009 -> 09:45 PM) Harrison Barnes looking studly, winning the 4A championship for Ames. Their team goes undefeated, and they are all juniors. Will be one of the top 100 teams in the country next year. He will look great at Duke, maybe Kansas.
  19. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 16, 2009 -> 12:01 AM) Why are you guys so shocked they made it? This proves once again how crucial November/December games are. They beat Kansas, SDSU and Gonzaga. That was obviously enough (along with quality conference wins). This is why college hoops is so wonderful. You want in the tourney? Beat somebody. They also could not win a game away from home. If they missed the tourney, KU would have had the longest streak in the tourney in the road...stupid arizona.
  20. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Mar 15, 2009 -> 11:19 PM) I don't think so. haha, good planning.
