  1. QUOTE (Brian @ May 15, 2008 -> 11:35 PM) Off topic, but why didn't we play this afternoon? I know it isn't a long trip to SF, but still. Because the Sox want me to be tired and fussy...and drunk.
  2. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 15, 2008 -> 11:31 PM) OMG, you mean we didn't lose the game? A...a...tie? Wait...we get to hit again!?!? Wooooow. This 9 inning thing is pretty cool. Don't we get like...points or something for winning innings? I don't understand this game.
  3. Well. As much as that sucks, it could have been a lot worse. That's me being positive.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ May 15, 2008 -> 11:27 PM) 2b and LF. Konerko's D has been miserable this season. Quentin has been less than stellar in left.
  5. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ May 15, 2008 -> 11:24 PM) The entire seaon and the fact that play wasn't even close. And the answer to the second question? Who even makes that play close? I think you expect the moon from this guy and will never be satisfied.
  6. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ May 15, 2008 -> 11:21 PM) Is it me or does Cabrera have limited range and no arm ugh, not good You base that on that play? What ss was going to make that out?
  7. QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ May 15, 2008 -> 11:16 PM) javy at 100+ now on the pitch count, how long do we leave him in? Until this inning ends or he allows base runners.
  8. QUOTE (Brian @ May 15, 2008 -> 11:12 PM) How fricking slow ARE YOU????? This is a surprise? I'm also happy to see the PK eeyore look. If you are hurt, then stop killing the offense and go on the DL. Congrats for gutting it out, but it's May, not September.
  9. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 15, 2008 -> 11:09 PM) Quentin grounds to 3rd. He's 4-22 against lefties this season, interesting. JD singles to left. I knew he sucked. Now where's that green...?
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ May 15, 2008 -> 10:50 PM) Can we get some runs to take the pressure off of our pitchers? No. And they will also play shaky defense to make things that much more interesting.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ May 15, 2008 -> 10:39 PM) For a while....and I'm sick of hearing it as an excuse. DL him if it's that bad. And BTW, Thme is now under .200. Well he really looks in pain tonight, but I agree. DL him for a couple weeks and hope it gets better. This team can cover for a 1st baseman

  13. QUOTE (Frankensteiner @ May 15, 2008 -> 10:24 PM) Define lately. BA over the last 7 days: .167/.167/.417/.583. I really have no idea why Brian Anderson gets so much hype here. He's a marginal major league player with a really solid glove. I agree with you. Anderson is a classic bench player. He's looks good against the right match ups and in short spurts, but over a long period of time he is exposed. Meanwhile, I love his defense and I think he saves a lot of runs. At this point, I don't know if Anderson saves more runs than Thome creates.
  14. Thome...useless. He got a 92 MPH fastball at the belt and couldn't catch up.
  15. Sacks packed for the second time this inning. Christ Thome. Please.
  16. Well, goofy play for both teams. Sacks packed. Swisher needs a few hits like that.
  17. This AB can be measured in minutes rather than pitches.
