  1. Good night All...I hate these late ones...
  2. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Apr 25, 2006 -> 11:45 PM) lol..you should quit why you're ahead. His pitching is an adventure for the fielders, hitters, coaching staff and fans. It's all fun and games in a game like today but other than that we might as well just let Uribe finish the game. If you guys think I really think this logan guy is good then you are all mistaken....He is not good, but as a coach and as a ballclub you need to give your prospects the chance to pitch in the big's. Maybe he shouldnt be here but it was a decision that was made and we saw how it worked out. A good pitching prospect is not something you stumble across on the side of the road. You need to see how they compete in the big's because it is so much different from the minors. So now we saw...and now we let him refine his work lower in the orginization, but at least he got some work done up here and he can see what he needs to work on. But in my opinion I don't think he is good, but I think he can improve immensly, and I don't think Ozzie is going to move him down just yet.
  3. QUOTE(BFirebird @ Apr 25, 2006 -> 11:43 PM) my thoughts exactly. I'm sorry if i cant spell...it's not my foult
  4. If I can remember correctly people were ranting and raving about boone in ST....now he gives up some runs and he is back to AA....you guys are rediculas and dont give any of these kids a chance.
  5. What I mean is that he is better than any of you can ever do...A, AA, AAA or majors.....let these kids pitch in MLB games...your not going to have an experienced pitching staff forever if you dont let these guys learn and play with the big boys.
  6. Hey let the kid pitch...he only let up 2 runs.....Like Hawk said this is the time to bring him in to get experience....of course hes scared, but hes doing better than any of you can do. I like him...
  7. oH YEA...Comcast+ sucks balls...worst audio ever..
  8. Lets just go ahead and say that the M's have been off to a lousy start and we are not about to let them begin to heat up. another 3 game sweep is a-brewing and we will take a 11 game win streak into Los Angeles California right around the Anaheim area just North of Orange County and Just south of Fullerton County. Sox roll through this with ease. f*** the M's, what's a mariner anyway? Sox 7 - M's 3 JiYea!!!
  9. Just get the job done against the teams that can't score runs and the teams that we are supposed to beat....isn't that what we did last year. We don't need to win every series against the Ny's and Boston's of the league...but as long as we take out the lower teams we are all good. F*** offensive powerhouse teams, they are overrated.... its all about the pitching. Score one run more than the other team and you win the game. I was at my buddies house last night and they were watching the cubs game. The whole house was cubs fans. I will watch a cubs game and just root for the other team if I need to, but it was such a crappy game because it was a blowout. Who says offensive powerhouse's keep people interested in baseball. After the 4th inning I asked if I could get a Sox score and we saw that it was a 0-0 game in the 5th. That game stayed on until the finish even know they were all cubs fans. What keeps me interested in the game is if it is close and keeps you on the edge of your seat. And that is why the Sox were so fun to watch last year because they won all those 1 run games. JiYea!!!! P.S. Kyle Orton #18 Altoona, Iowa
  10. Prediction: Sox 5 - Royals 2 See ya After the game...Time to head ot to the ballpark!!!
  11. 5 for 5 guys....if you are going to complain, at least do it when he is struggling....he is working into his groove and doing it in good fashion. GiYea!!
  12. Thisa team is So F'n Good...but then again the Royals are so F'n bad....I hope our pitching can hold up against decent teams....What a grab by Brian....YESSS!!! JiYea!!
  13. Burnett is on the DL....is he coming back?
  14. Well, as the 2006 season steadily gets underway, the... correction...our Chicago WhiteSox look foward to the weekend as they Begin a 9 game home stand. Going in at 5-4 and facing a Toronto Blue Jays team with an identical record, the White Sox look to continue thier 4 game winning streak. The two first weeks of baseball for our Sox has shown us all that unlike last year's pitching before hitting, defense before offense, or as some like to call it, OzzieBall, this year has taken a complete turn around. Pitching has been shaky and defense has been decent but not great. The addition of slugger Jim Thome has turned out to be a great one, now just stay healthy my friend. 5-4 is not where most people expected the White Sox to end up going into this firts home stand of the season, but hey, its better than 0-9 right. After giving up a 6 run lead against the pesky Royals, the Sox and J. (let it stand for whatever name you choose) Garland almost give up a 7 run lead to the Detroit Tigers. Many people are worrying about Garland and how he has started off this season, I don't....give him some time, he'll get back into his working rythem. Its gonna be a nice weekend here in the great City of Chicago...mid-to-high 70's is the call. Today was pretty nice also, did anyone see all 22+ homeruns leave the ballparks around the MLB this afternoon. As the weather warms up, the balls begin to fly. This may concern some maybe more than some pitchers, but for Javier Vazquez...no worries is the report. Friday night's showdown against the Jays will mark Vazquez's Home debut with our beloved White Sox. After a steller outing against the Royals, going 7 innings and allowing 2 runs on 5 hits, Vazquez is looking to repeat that performance tomorrow night. Without having to face Halladay or Burnett during the series my prediction is another sweep and continuing on through the weekend with a 7 game winning streak. The WhiteSox are throwing Vazquez Friday, Buehrle Saturday, and Garcia Sunday. For the Jays, it will be Downs Friday, Lilly Saturday, and Towers Sunday (I believe, Correct me if wrong). Should make to be a wonderful weekend, enjoy the weather and Go SoX!!!!
  15. A. J. Pierzynski reaches on force attempt, missed catch error by Unknown (0), assist to first baseman Chris Shelton. Paul Konerko to 3rd. Jermaine Dye to 2nd. MLB GAMEDAY?
  16. I think all of our predictions for Kong this year are going to be ruined by Thome..... If Konerko gets 40 homeruns he is likely to get maybe around 45 RBI's because little Jimmy over there is clearing the bases before Kong can get a chance.
