This whole terrible story makes Frank look like a bitter man who really would rather be playing for the White Sox rather than the A's, regardless of his feelings for KW. Does this make me hate Frank Thomas now? Nope, I will always have fond memories of Frank. I still hope he stays healthy and hits #500. Either way, he's a Hall of Famer. But I still think that KW made the wise choice in replacing Frank with Thome. There definately aren't just two positions (Frank-lovers vs. Frank-haters) in this discussion. You can still love Frank and realize that KW made the right move for the sake of the team.

True. Iguchi still put up a good OBP while batting second. Who knows if Uribe can actually do that. Productive outs is one thing, OBP is even more important in the #2 spot.

Iguchi will be here for two more seasons for sure because his contract is dirt cheap. Crede could be here for three more seasons or he could be traded if Josh Fields ever pans out.

Sounds like that Cowley story was true. NBC 5 just played an interview with Frank and he said that it hurt to leave the team that he was with for so many years but he is now moving on. He said that he talked to Kenny this morning. Sounds like Cowley is telling the truth and that Kenny may have actually threatened Frank with bringing up worse stories.

AJ has a weird body. He looks fine in the first photo but fat in the second. I've noticed that this seems to be a trend in the pictures I see of him.
