Farmer is no great shakes but he's much better than Singleton, IMO. Singleton can't even spit out a single play when he is doing the PBP. I can at least understand what is going on in the game when Farmer is doing the PBP.
Well, it's only a bad inning because we are pitching a guy who normally wouldn't even be on the team. I'm sure the game would be different if Contreras was pitching.
I hope to hell that no one said he was getting squeezed. Half of his pitches seemed to be knuckleballs that he lost grip of and flew way high and outside.
Note to the Sox:
1.) Don't bring up a knuckleballer at the Cell.
2.) Don't bring up a knuckleballer with horrible walk rates in the minors.
3.) Don't bring up a knuckleballer when you don't have a catcher that can catch a knuckleball.
