I think she just popped one out. She's a big top-heavy because of it.

Mac and Jurko supposedly are but they really care more about the Bears and football than anything else. Harry is a Cubs fan so he must have hopped on the bandwagon.

Ozzie just said, "Hopefully, we keep that leetle monkey in its cage. Everyone hates that leetle monkey."

Frank said his foot is healing nicely and he probably won't need surgery. He also has a feeling that he will be back next year.

Steve Stone talked about this. He said that the guys Garland usually gets out a lot are Figgina and Anderson. If those guys are lacing line drives instead of hitting grounders in the 1st or 2nd inning, Garland most likely doesn't have his good sinker because he's too strong. They were talking about Garland warming up longer before the game to tire him out a bit so his sinker will sink a bit more. I guess we will find out.

The Cry for Instant replay in MLB Games
Did anyone see the ump just botch a call in the Astros @ Cardinals game? Grudzielanek hit a ball off his foot and his bat shattered and the ump said that the ball was in play and he was out even though it should have been a foul ball. MISTAKES HAPPEN!!!

Chicago @ memphis...
So is Sweetney going to be our starting PF or what? He seems like a very good scorer and rebounder but he seems to be a bit out of shape and I hear he's poor defensively. Anyone think he will earn the starting nod?

IT WAS THE RIGHT CALL.
FOX showed the 3rd base coach Ed Rapuano talk to Eddings and he must have agreed that the ball did indeed hit the ground. Of course, there's no way Rapuano could have seen it for sure from where he was standing IMO. The only video that is of any value is the zoomed-in shot of Josh Paul's glove.

IT WAS THE RIGHT CALL.
In this case, a picture is almost worthless. You need to see the zoomed-in frame-by-frame replay that FOX showed.

I hope to hell that Escobar catches Washburn's sickness. He threw 39 pitches and I don't want to see him ever again.

John Cusack at Game 2
http://www.suntimes.com/output/sox/cst-nws-nocelebs12.html Let's see. Here's Cusack's history of fandom: 2000: White Sox fan 2003: Cubs fan 2005: White Sox fan Neither team wants you on their bandwagon, Cusack. And take your sister with you. Those U.S. Cellular commercials make me want to slit my throat. I'm glad Reinsdorf told Cusack to F OFF in not so many words.

IT WAS THE RIGHT CALL.
Exactly. Our hitters were taking perfect strikes by Escobar early in the count and then swinging at his s*** in the dirt. Escobar pitched well but a lot of his good performance was horrible pitch selection by all of our hitters.

John Cusack at Game 2
What a piece of garbage sell-out. Get off the bandwagon, loser.
-
IT WAS THE RIGHT CALL.
I had visions of a strikeout on a ball in the dirt just like what every one of our other hitters did against Escobar. I'm glad I was wrong. Escobar left his splitter up and the rest is history.

IT WAS THE RIGHT CALL.
FOX showed it twice. You want to look for the extremely zoomed-in frame-by-frame replay of the ball and Josh Paul's glove if ESPN or Comcast shows it again.
-
IT WAS THE RIGHT CALL.
Did you see the zoomed-in frame-by-frame replay?
-
IT WAS THE RIGHT CALL.
You must have missed the zoomed-in frame-by-frame replay then. The wide angle zoomed-out replay made it look like Paul gloved the ball cleanly.
-
IT WAS THE RIGHT CALL.
Pierzynski said he never heard anyone call him out. That's why he ran to 1st base even though he knew he struck out.
-
IT WAS THE RIGHT CALL.
There were 2 replays shown. The zoomed-out replay made it look like Paul caught the ball cleanly. The extremely zoomed-in frame-by-frame replay that FOX showed made it look like the ball bounced upward into Paul's glove.
-
IT WAS THE RIGHT CALL.
Yep, the zoomed-in frame-by-frame replay showed the ball bounce up into Josh Paul's glove. I don't know if it was just a missing frame or something but the ball definately went upward into Paul's glove. The other zoomed-out replay made it look like Paul caught the ball cleanly.

I wish Cora wasn't such a putz. That way, no one would have a reason to b**** about anything.
