  1. Why with 1 out? With 1 out you can knock in Rowand with a sac fly.
  2. Cora has to realize that Rowand is gassed. He just ran full-speed and slid into 3rd base. There's absolutely no reason to risk an almost sure run. If we lose this game by 1 run it will be the stupidest call all season.
  3. Yep, I sure am happy Cora blew a second run for us.
  4. Bucks calls Uribe "Iguchi." These jokers need to go.
  5. Blame dumbass Joey Cora for killing everyone's buzz. He is still making the same stupid decisions that he made all season long. If Cora is back next season, I will puke.
  6. God Uribe, you only had an hour to throw the ball.
  7. Also, Konerko turns into Superman right after he hits a homerun.
  8. Good point but some our guys still didn't even get the bunt down so what did it matter where Figgins was? It's also possible to bunt to the 1st base side.
  9. Ozzie used my advice from last night. He had all of our guys practice bunting. Podsednik laid down 70+ sac bunts in practice.
  10. Regardless, we have to win this game or the series is likely over.
  11. If we can't beat Washburn on a cold night when he has strep throat and is coming off of a 102 degree fever over the weekend, we don't deserve to go to the WS.
  12. Yeah, the Angels are most definately not the Red Sox. The Red Sox let us drop down the bunt all we wanted. When Scioscia plays his infield way up like that, the bunt has to be taken off. We don't have the greatest bunters to begin with so expecting them to successfully drop down a bunt when the infield is waiting for it is not very smart.
  13. Tonight is definately a must-win. I heard a stat that 63% of the time the team that wins the first game of the series wins the series. We need a win tonight to shoot down those odds.
  14. Also, our hitters kept showing bunt so Scioscia just played his infielders up. Our guys need to take off the bunt and bloop some balls over their heads when that happens.
  15. Contreras held the Angels to 3 runs in 8.1 innings. You can't ask much more than that. Our offense has to score more than 2 runs off of Paul Byrd. Contreras can't hit for himself.
