  1. Rotoworld thinks the Orioles or the Devil Rays. The Orioles did have some interest in Todd Walker as a DH. Durazo would be an even better option.
  2. I didn't say that there was anything wrong with your post. I do believe that Rotoworld seems to have some bias against Kenny. The Bajenaru for Cintron trade was a pure steal and Rotoworld was unimpressed with it. But in this case about Podsednik, they are right.
  3. Are you trying to make Tad sad?

  5. Cintron IS an erratic fielder but he's still a pretty good utility guy to have.
  6. It's not like the Rotoworld dude is lying. Without his speed and therefore his ability to steal bases, Podsednik is a ~.350 OBP, ~.700 OPS left fielder. Not very impressive.
  7. What I posted is fact. I'm not calling it whatever I want. Podsednik had nagging groin problems most of last season and just had a problem with his groin today.
  8. Yeah, but once Logan started owning guys up to the past couple weeks it sure looked like he was going to win the spot. He started dominated while Javier Lopez got knocked around. I'm pretty sure that Jeckle2000 thought that Lopez would win the spot up until this week. Logan still could get shellacked during the season and the spot could become Lopez's though.
  9. Podsednik had a groin problem all of last season and he just felt a twinge in his groin running the bases today. It sure seems to be a "nagging" problem to me. I don't need the Sox to tell me. Yeah, Farmer and Singleton thought that it was a bad call and that Podsednik was really safe. But that was before he felt the twinge in his groin. Last season showed that Podsednik shouldn't even bother stealing bases if he has a groin problem that is hampering his speed.
  10. But we all know that nagging groin injuries aren't good and especially suck for Podsednik. He keeps trying to steal bases and gets thrown out easily.

  16. Indeed, and he also cheated with the Cardinals by using pine tar on the bill of his cap.
  17. Probably not, but I trust Matt Thornton about as far as I can throw his 6'6", 235 pound ass. I hope he proves me wrong though.
  18. Looks like fathom's prediction about Podsednik not being ready for opening day might actually come true... http://www.southsidesox.com/story/2006/3/27/183233/719
  19. I doubt the Sox want to use Ozuna at 1B during the season unless completely necessary. Cintron makes Ozuna pretty expendable IMO, other than as a pinch-runner off the bench. Of course, Ozzie does love Ozuna. Maybe if he would have pitched well this spring. But he's been horrible. I would be surprised if the Sox could even get a warm bucket of piss for him now.
  20. Usually, a player needs around 10 really good seasons to be a HoF'er. Albert Belle put up 10 good seasons before injuries cut his career short. He's a borderline HoF'er in my book, but I doubt he's a HoF'er in the voters' eyes.
