  1. Holy schnike. I tottaly forgot about the addition of Archuleta. Now we've got a healthy Mike Brown, Briggs is back, Hester on offense, Walker and Tommie at DT, Peanut and Vasher are locked up, Olsen the pass-catching TE we've needed....wow.
  2. What a haul by the Rangers.
  3. Marcum just shut us down. Pods needs to go. Somewhere. Anywhere.
  4. QUOTE(DonnyDevito @ Jul 29, 2007 -> 10:22 AM) what doesn't look right is Tadahito looks more focused in that pic than he's been in years on the south side. Because he was here so long, right?
  5. QUOTE(Jim Spencer @ Jul 29, 2007 -> 08:23 AM) Jason Bourgeois I thought he was white.
  6. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jul 28, 2007 -> 10:40 PM) Any schematics of that one? Where is it going? Like Rex said, right where the old Sun Times building was. 401 North Wabash. I'd say about 1/3 is completed.
  7. People seem to be forgetting the new Trump Tower skyscraper being built too. I personally can't wait to see the skyline when both buildings are completed.
  8. This isn't computing properly for me. The White Sox have 2 rookies hitting well against one the the best pitchers in the MLB. Whoda thunk it?
  9. There you have it in a nutshell folks. Pods used to beat those easily.
  10. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 28, 2007 -> 07:07 PM) Ty Cobb died 46 years ago, Hawk needs some new material. Catfish Hunter died 8 years ago...what new?
  11. QUOTE(iamshack @ Jul 28, 2007 -> 07:04 PM) Well, one thing that people aren't mentioning....Scottie sees a bouncing ball up the middle and is running hard because he wants to score on a base hit. Razor Shines doesn't exactly put up the stop sign early, and McDonald just alertly throws it over to third immediately. It was just an outstanding play by McDonald, even Glaus was shocked to have the ball thrown over. It wasn't Scottie's fault. If anyone, I blame Shines, although it was more a very heads up play by McDonald than anyone's fault. So it can't be Pods' fault that he just stopped 10 feet short of home plate and gave them an out.
  12. Richar turns the DP. I love this guy so far.
  13. QUOTE(Cerbaho-WG @ Jul 28, 2007 -> 06:59 PM) Anyone mind explaining what happened? Pods on 2nd, Richar hits one up the middle. McDonald dives, Richar would have been safe at 1st by a mile, but Pods tries to score on a grounder on the infield and gets caught in a run down 3 feet from 3rd base.
