QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 17, 2007 -> 06:00 PM) Best game of the tourney by far. 2OT now. QUOTE(tigerfan @ Mar 17, 2007 -> 06:01 PM) Pitt/VCU trying to rival that, 67 all now. Two amazing basketball games. VCU/Pitt going to OT. -
LAAoA vs. Sox - St. Patricks Day, 3/17/07

That was one of the funniest after-swings I've seen. Anderson hit terribly today. I liked what I saw from Count, Masset, and Aardsma. Sisco obviously needs to work on his control. When he's hitting the strike zone, he is dominant. And as we saw today, when he has no control...bomb's away. And the CSN gun must be off. Aardsma and Sisco were both throwing 93 tops. And the other day, Jenks and Thornton couldn't top 93 as well. -

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 17, 2007 -> 04:02 PM) Actually, he's hit all of his pro career, except for the first half of last year. He wasn't really tearing it up in the 2nd half either...but for BA, maybe he was. -

QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Mar 17, 2007 -> 04:01 PM) Sisco was just featured in White Sox commercial. Yeah, I just don't believe he's going to start the season at AAA. Is he the one who says "PASSION"? Because I've been trying to figure out who the hell that was all day. -

As far as BA goes, to me, he is different than Garland, Crede, and Rowand. We gave those guys all the chances in the world.....(JOSH FIELDS! PUT IT ON THE BOARD!)....but there was a different feeling with them. Anderson on the other hand, with every game, I lose hope in him. And it was never like that with Rowand, Jon, or Joe. Don't get me wrong, Anderson is a great great CFer, but he can't hit a lick. -

This is the 1st I've seen of Masset this spring, and I like his stuff. He reminds me a bit of a Keith Foulke. -
QUOTE(Shadows @ Mar 17, 2007 -> 03:40 PM) Ok well according to IGN, who might be a tad more credible than you , seems to disagree.. "You don't see this on the next-generation versions of this game" There are only a few 100's on the PS3/XBox 360 versions... EDIT: My bad, you said current-gen. Thought you were talking next-gen. Once more, my fault. Sorry about that.

Kotchman homers and makes it 2-0 on a 2-0 count. And as I type that, back-to-back home runs, 3-0 Angels. -
QUOTE(Shadows @ Mar 17, 2007 -> 12:55 PM) 2K7 on the current gen systems have insane player rankings, otherwise I would have considered buying it.. but apparently guys like JD Drew and Michael Barrett are rated 100 overall Nah, I'd say the Player Ratings are pretty good actually. The only bad ones really are guys who have big names but don't produce. For example, Prior with like an 85 ranking...

I'm loving the spring training nicknames we got going. Grinderstad, AAAnderson...what's next? Gavin Pink Floyd? Carrasco simply shutting us down. -

Hawk on Pablo: "He's one of the most energy guys in baseball." Murphy steals 2nd, 3rd, then scores on the infield hit. 1-0 Angels, 2 down. -

Man, these games do get pretty intense. I was up 3-2 at Comerica and brough Jenks in for the save. After striking out the 1st two, Sheffield triples to deep right center after Dye bobbles the ball and lets it roll all the way to the wall. Then I got the next batter to pop out to short right on a 3-2 count and Iguchi ended the game. Good stuff.

QUOTE(SoxAce @ Mar 12, 2007 -> 08:47 PM) It's a damn shame I didn't go to college. I would rock that Leon kid. I'm looking at his stats and the only thing he was better at then me is average. If I could only turn back time.. Slav you know I can rake it. He's got great control and good movement on his pitches. He won't strike you out, but he'll probably get you to hit a nubber to the 1st basemen... QUOTE(Mplssoxfan @ Mar 12, 2007 -> 08:47 PM) Extremely cool. You guys could have a lot on your plates if you decided to expand. The Midwest is typically one of the least scouted regions -- and there's definitely lots of guys who can play here. We're definitely willing to do so. We've got a few players interested from a few states in the midwest. Most scouts go to Texas, California, and Florida...lot's of good players here in the Midwest, like you said. Getting the word out is the hardest part of any business. Thats how you get clients, and that's what we're trying to do...

QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Mar 12, 2007 -> 08:29 PM) Damn Serb, you weren't kidding awhile back when you said you were tall. Now I'm only 80% sure I could kick you ass. Good luck on the business, though. LOL, thanks Flash. And thanks to everyone else as well. I've already gotten calls and email from money-hungry bastards trying to run my business. So is the business life I guess...
