    My 1 Week of Fame

Hey, if anyone get's the chance, check out Crain's Chicago Business Magazine. My friend and I were featured for our work as young entrepaneurs. Heres, the online link: http://www.chicagobusiness.com/cgi-bin/mag...rticle_id=27420
  2. A few notes... - Those complaining about the game freezing on 360, if you don't have the intercooler, I suggest you get one. I logged about 10 hours today and not once did it freeze. - Glitch wise, the only thing I notice is that when making a pitching change in the middle of the inning, sometimes the original pitcher would be in the cut scene or highlight. - Nothing to complain about yet in Franchise Mode. Maybe trading players is a bit too easy though. I got Hanley Ramirez, Miguel Olivo, and Cody Ross from the Marlins for Cintron, Erstad, and Hall. Oh, and here are the fake names minor leaguers that I know of so far... Bill Gordon - Ben Grieve Lloyd Blevins - Lance Broadway Nate Reyes - Nick Regilio Cody Blum - Chad Bentz Ron Boyd - Ryan Bukvich Jerry Douglass - John Danks Nate Martin - Nick Masset Ralph Vaughn - Robert Valido Gene Gross - Gio Gonzalez Chris Hunter - Charles Haeger
  3. I was wrong about the HR-fest's. I need to mess with the sliders for that. And also, is it just me, or does the CPU make way too many great plays defensively? I must have had about 10 stolen HR's and 8 or 9 diving catches in my 12 games played...
  4. Just got my 360 today and played MLB 2k7 for the 1st time and I was really impressed. Great gameplay overall, nice and smooth. Hitting is hard to get used to at 1st, but it's nice once you get the hang of it. Pitching is also a bit confusing, but much simpler than the hitting. All of the cut scenes are amazing and the stadiums look so realistic. Really loving the game. The AI is better than previous games. Not many blowouts and not many home run fests. Overall, a great game. Can't wait to start a franchise mode...

    Computer question

Maybe you're confusing RAM with the storage space on your hard drive?

  8. Power Rangers. The original Power Rangers. And fishing.
  9. I figured 7 PM was pretty early for a Saturday Night, but I guess we can change it. For now, I'll move it to the 11th. Any other suggestions?
  10. Ok, SFF is Flower Power. We just need joeynach an fattyguy78 to sign up and we're good to go.
  11. I also agree that it's football. The playcalling, the 4th downs, the 2 point conversions, etc.
  12. Coolest thing on a plane was when I flew to Alaska last year and we were flying right next to the Northern Lights. It was amazing to look out the window and see green formations moving about.
  13. Ok, we need 4 more people to join. Fattyguy78, jackie hayes, SoxFanForever, and joey nach.
  14. Has anyone played this on 360 yet? I'm getting one next weekend and cant wait to play.
  15. QUOTE(SoxAce @ Feb 27, 2007 -> 04:37 PM) Ha! I laugh at Greg and his dislocated shoulders pitching. Talk about having a long ball party. He'll have the masturbator working that day. I guarantee it.
  16. Well, in soccer....just kidding. In all honesty, it doesnt matter what a player does, because it's his life and his money. But in my opinon, I think it's really only right if there is some kind of opportunity for greatness or a better chance at winning.
  17. Ok, draft time changed to 7 PM CT on Saturday March 3rd. Is this OK with the majority?
  18. Ok, I'm dropping it. For the sake of others. Go on with your hockey and basketball discussions...
  19. QUOTE(SnB @ Feb 27, 2007 -> 03:39 AM) no, because i live in america BA-CHING So everyone living in America has never been to a big soccer game? I like your reasoning.
  20. QUOTE(SnB @ Feb 27, 2007 -> 03:24 AM) I went basketball. Basketball usually has the biggest moments/examples of how momentum can change a game in an instant. Also, basketball games are much much louder just because of the fact that they're indoors and in a much more intimate atmosphere. Let me ask you. Have you ever been to a soccer game with 90,000 people in the stadium, chanting and singing, with fireworks and flares going off? But I'm not going to go further with this, just stating my opinion. I don't want to be called an elitist or anything.
  21. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Feb 27, 2007 -> 03:14 AM) hate to stir the pot, but Korea 2002 and I don't even like soccer Excellent example. Kudos to you.
