am i the only one that is
the division IS ours for the taking. Minny is back to Earth after they were the only ones playing DECENT last year in our division. KC is no biggy. We could beat em, and so can any decent to good team in the MLB!

Quotes on pitching
I'll have to disagree. JM is fine with us right now. Ozzie Guillen should be brought in to either be hitting coach or a mentor or something with this ball club. He is one of my all time favorites and he could teach DJ, Jose, Aaron, Olivo, or anyone else, the true art of hitting and he could get this offense putting pressure on the pitcher by stealing bases and playing small ball. I say Ward must go 1st. BRING IN OZZIE!

Quotes on pitching
Hold o now, I said small ball, not new manager. We need a REAl hitting coach. This Ward guy doesnt help the hitters. He says "Try harder next time!" and leaves. We need a hitting coach who would teach ALL aspects of the art of hitting. I have one thing to say!' OZZIE GUILLEN!

Quotes on pitching
"I just call that good pitching. He didn't get us much to hit," -- Orioles' first baseman Jeff Conine on Esteban Loaiza's performance. Conine is a decent hitter. Him making a statement like this is just showing that Loazia is hitting his spots and giving hitters nothing. Loazia is our MVP through the 1st month of the season, for sure! "The pitching -- the way [we've] been throwing -- we just got to step it up a little bit more on the pitching and go on from there. " -- Loaiza on the White Sox's pitching. He said this after an outing like the one he had last night. I know Loazia has been pitching great but he is now a team leader. Saying the pitching has to step it up and push so early in the season is wondeful. Loazia is creeping up on the Player of the Month Award and soon is becoming one of my favorite White Sox players. I love his mentality and drive.

Game 2 of the the 3 game visit to Baltimore and the starting pitchers are: Gametime is 6:05 CT Bartolo Colon- 2-0, 3.21 ERA Jason Johnson- 2-0, 2.89 ERA Bartolo has a 5-2 record, with a 2.55 ERA lifetime ERA vs. BAL. Johnson has a 2-3 record, with a 8.10 lifetime vs. CHI. In 2002, Johnson was 0-1 with a 40.50 ERA vs the Pale Hose! Bartolo Colon is coming off his 20th career complete game, which came Saturday against his former team, the Cleveland Indians. He allowed three runs on nine hits. Paul Konerko is hitting .294 in his past four games, and he apparently likes to hit against Jason Johnson. Konerko went 2-for-2 with two RBIs in one game against the O's right-hander last season. The second- and third-inning singles Esteban Loaiza gave up to Melvin Mora and B.J. Surhoff, respectively, on Tuesday are the only hits he has allowed in the first three innings of a start this season. And he has not allowed more than four hits in any of his four starts. Ordonez extended his career- and Major League-high hitting streak to 18 games Tuesday. Frank Thomas needs only four more doubles to reach 400, 21 home runs to get to 400 and 85 hits for 2,000 in his career. With Tuesday's win, Jerry Manuel tied Fielder Jones for 426 victories as manager of the Sox. On television: Chicago: FSN Baltimore: CSN On radio: Chicago: ESPN Radio 1000 Baltimore: WBAL 1090

the only problem
He better turn it around soon. If Buehrle can hit his spots and Stewart and turn it arounf, our rotation has potential for 60-75 wins! Buehrle- 20 Colon- 20 Garland- 14-16 Loazia- 13-17 Stewart- 10-12
