  1. Castro doesn't sound to bad. Anybody is better then Miller.
  2. We needed a back up catcher. I knew Miller wasn't going to last the season here, I hate to see Lance go, good luck in NY.
  3. Looks like the Cubs are getting back to there old selves again.
  4. As soutsider2k5 said we're only 5.5 games out. If we can keep hitting and get goog pitching we can pick that up. Teams have come from farther back then we are and made the playoffs.
  5. QUOTE (wilmot825 @ May 26, 2009 -> 10:54 AM) I have a feeling that Kenny has a few trades up his sleeve to get us back into and infront the Central race. I agree. I think KW has a few trades planned also. I look for him to go after another solid starter, not sure who we would trade but I think a trade or two will be made.
  6. I didn't get to see the game but it sounds like it was a really nice win. Hopefully we got things going in the right direction.
  7. Peavy turned down the deal this time, I don't see what would make him change his mind.
  8. I will not root for the Cubs. I would have to be pretty hard up to pull for them. The Peavy thing is history, the Padres are stuck with him.
  9. I don't see why the Sox even made the trade offer since they wouldn't pick up the option and knew Peavy was going to reject it.
  10. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ May 21, 2009 -> 04:37 PM) He is a giant p**** who is scared of pitching outside of San Diego and the NL. I think the same thing. He might be afraid of the DH rule in the American League.
  11. Down 20-0, oh brother. Gosh I wish it was September.
  12. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 21, 2009 -> 02:48 PM) I was just thinking what a way to impress a guy that has reservations about coming here. I was thinking the same thing also. I doubt if he would want to come to this sad bunch we have on this team.
  13. Down 9-0 in the 4th inning, am I reading the score right? Any chance we could throw in Greg Walker in the Peavy deal? Possibly even our pitching coach.
  14. We have everything to gain by getting Peavy.
  15. I'm not holding my breath on him agreeing to come to the Sox. If he does come he would be a big help.
  16. I don't believe a word of the Peavy thing. It will never happen.
  17. Hopefully we will be on a 2 game winning streak after tonights game.
  18. Sure is good to be in the win column again.
  19. 6-2 Sox, so far so good.
  20. 3-0 good guys. Now lets not blow the lead.
  21. Is all I am asking for is a win.
  22. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 18, 2009 -> 01:06 PM) 1976,1978,1979,1984,1986,1987,1988,1989,1995,2007 I think are worse. This team could finish worse the way things are going.
  23. I have been a White Sox fan for 33 years and this team is turning out to be one of the worst I have ever seen.
  24. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ May 18, 2009 -> 12:46 PM) Fixed Thanks ChiSox for the correction!! Aren't we leading the major leagues in fewest runs scored? If not we have to be close.
