QUOTE(kapkomet @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 02:12 PM) Anyone, or anything, Bush does is wrong. So it doesn't matter. The whole damn world is falling apart, and I blame it on GWB. The hell with personal accountability. does this mean I won't get banned anyone for calling people homos? k, thanks

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 02:31 PM) SS25K is a wanker, everything PA says is bollocks, and ChiSoxy is cheeky. Any questions? big words coming from a daft geezer, though

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 02:20 PM) Hey, what am I? Chopped liver? Doing an MBA is different then grad school for a PhD. Graduate school is so much different then undergrad - and often times the demographic is a LOT different. Older to younger, good cross section of women and men, and married and not. One thing that I find personally interesting is most of the people that are going through the MBA in my program are divorced or never married. Hey, captain A hole, I said she was in the minority. If you so desire to put yourself in the minority, then do so. but he might bum a smoke off of you afterwards.... At A&M I had a lot of friends that were married and the husband or wife was finishing their grad work. I think it's gonna be a blast. Miss PA just has to take her GREs and then we'll be set. I only hope she gets a 2200 hundred like my buddy did. (I'm aware they changed the scoring system in the last couple years, thansk )

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 02:07 PM) No, I had to ask one of the Resident Brits here what exactly minging meant. He said it was an army term for ugly or dirty and he gave all of those other ones as synonyms. He said it's noy the word so much as the cadence in the way it is said. Personally I think he makes it up as he goes along. I mean, he spends all day studying sponges, so how in the know can he be? These guys knew alot of sponges... so maybe there's some hope for your friend.

QUOTE(DePloderer @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 02:04 PM) How DARE you speak this way about my future kings wife, royal consort or step mother to the next in line but NEVER Queen. You are doing the canine world a diservice. You're fooling yourself... Queen E part duex has a solid lock on the "one ring", so I don't expect her to die for at least another 94 years...

Should definitely send me $50...

QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 01:44 PM) What grad progam does she want to go into? That might make the school search a whole different ballgame. . . good question, but that's how we came up with this list. The ADA has certain schools approved for 5th year internships, with many of them coupled with MS's, MPH's, or PhD's in Nutrition. Of the 260 programs, many of which don't offer degree programs, we found 18. (I didn't list all of them.) I would suppose this question was difficult to begin with because the difference between an undergraduate's college experience and graduate level is often times quite significant. soxy, you're amongst a minority of people on the site that would have some insight on this. Do you have many friends that are married while in grad school? my best friend and his wife and my parents all had this experience.

QUOTE(J-MAN @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 01:01 PM) Why wasn't DePaul on the list? Scores high in student satisfaction every year! Excellent Computer, Accounting and Theater departments. Because Miss PA is getting her PhD in Nutrition....

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 12:43 PM) And you will always be banned from Soxtalk That topic is better left burried, and something I'd expect to read from someone less attractive than myself

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 10:07 AM) Hee Hee... dimwit hahaha. precisely. That's why MISS PA is the one looking for grad schools and I"m a bum at a bank. It is, however, official: I'm a moron. I got it to work, finally.

QUOTE(aboz56 @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 09:39 AM) U of Kentucky - Positives: Very nice city (Lexington), good college sports except Football; stellar academics depending on what type of program you are looking for. Don't know much about the music scence. Also, MASSES of hot girls, which won't apply much to you. Negatives: Bars close way too early (1am). Not the best location for a campus IMO. This one is also high on my list. The tuition and living expenses seem considerably lower than the rest on our list. As for music, I would imagine I could catch some good country and blue grass. (keep the groans to youself ) Bars, babes, and such are a none factor because we'll be getting married prior to our moving.

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 09:20 AM) Aww man, not coming back to Texas? A&M is on the list We may end up permanently in CS, but we'll see. I figured moving to Chi-town would legitimize my sox fan-dome. And I could stalk mike like I've always dreamed of....

Miss PA's looking for schools. There's about 18 on her list. Over this next year, we'll probably have to go look and decide where we want to go. This of course depends on who gives us the most $$. UGA is top on my list I think.
