Why u guys love Matsui??? I dont see it...he is playing in the best offense in MLB and is putting s***ty numbers.

I agree... Matsui is a good defensive LFer... if you look at how quickly he releases the ball after he catches it... on his first step after the catch it's out of his hand already. Great fundamental player with a good eye and pop in his bat... watched him for 2 years in Japan when he first came up, and he's only grown as a ballplayer since then. He'll be fine. Matsui numbers: AVG .266, OBP .316, 3 HR, 29 RBIs, 21 R... The only good thing in here is his RBIs. That's poor numbers to me, CLee has the same numbers and more HRs. NYY is a 5 game home losiing streak and it looks like that Bearnie will have a surgery in his knee. Defensevely Matsui is better but CLee save a win wednesday, did u forget it ? And he is improving.

Matsui is a hole in their lineup and Bearnie aou is another one.

You gotta put Jimenez batting second and drop Jose in both lineups. Look at his OBP: .388 and .292, respectevely.

Crede is not suposed to be hitting and leading us team in HEs and RBIs. Not this season. He is a young player, who will improve in his career and plays good defense. Right now we are fortunate to have him or we would be playing with Greg Norton type of player.

Hey guys, what you think about Jeff Weaver??? We could send some relievers to them. He led the league in shutouts last year, Jeff Weaver is a 5th starter in NY, if we need some offense try to get Nick Johnson, a LH who has future and send PK to them or Carlos. Just wondering...

miles only has 3 errors thus far.. about the same as dj??? i think so.........so they are pretty evenly matched.. only miles isnt lazy........... If Miles is the guy JM wants at 2B and KW is gone..... as you say..... then why is Miles still down in the minors ? Heh, good question. IMO, it is because Aaron just play 2B and D'ang is playing well and hitting well, so he needs to put D'ang in SS and Aaron in 2B, but for him to do this he needs to put Jose in the bench or trade him. And Jose in the bench means clubhouse trouble. Rafa...I have a question to ask you. Do you consider Nomar Garciaparra a bad defensive SS? Yes, i consider but he can hit to compensate his error. Jose is much worse in defense and in the offense. And for that BS of winner mentality, Nomar has much more.

The other 2/3 we will turn things around??? I dont think so, today this team showed how bad and no heart this players are. So Wednesday's comeback meant we had heart, and today's loss to Detroit means we have no heart? I think this team is closer than ever to breaking out of this season-long slump. Maybe we will, maybe we won't -- but if you want to be a Sox fan, BE ONE. Don't claim to be one, then when they play poorly, start ripping them and jump off the bandwagon. It's the 2nd week that we get some momentum in games like wednesday and we lose ugly like today. Agst the O's we gained some momentum to llose after to 18-3 and get swept.

Jose is on pace to what 30 errors. D'ang is not lazy, but if he is lazy he can play some SS better than Jose. Jose plays SS since he was 15 years old and make a lot of errors. I never play baseball and i think i would do better than him on defense.

Just get rid of Jose. And D'ang plays better dfense than f***ing Jose. Aaron plays defense so bad like u are saying???

Hey HSC, i said that before...bring Aaron Miles and put him in 2B and D'ang in SS. And we trade Jose for some prospects. Trade Jose to the Reds.

I dont care if they are losing...this team will never win when it counts.

The thing about this team is the players dont care about winning, win 60 and lose 60, it doesnt work with this team. They will be playing winning baseball when the twins will be 15 games ahead of us. The last 3 seasons is the same thing, a team without defense waiting for the hitters to win ball games.

For me frank should go, PK and Jose too. We need some players that play great defense.

The team is all guilty in this one. Crede made a error but hitted a HR, nut the error was in a important situation. Jose 2 GIDPs, 0-4 day. Frank was horrible again. PK too. CLee is still thinking of his HR on wednesday. We lose today as a team. Dont point fingers in nobody today guys. BTW, another white flag??? I want.
