QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 21, 2007 -> 12:36 PM) I rarely have any rhyme or reason. I don't have any rhythym, so that's okay.

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 21, 2007 -> 10:34 AM) It's a message board. Get over it. Put me on your ignore list. Haha. I was just wondering if there's a rhyme or reason to your post. Carry on.

White Sox vs. A's, 5/21/07 (W)
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 21, 2007 -> 10:25 AM) It makes me sad to think that if we win 10 straight we probably won't be in 1st place. Nothing wrong with being negative or critical but is there any point whatsoever in making that comment here and now?

Thome activated, Sweeney sent down
QUOTE(AWhiteSoxinNJ @ May 20, 2007 -> 09:31 PM) Anderson isn't ready since he is in AAA currently. It took a year + to fully see it, even though Sox Talk saw it in 2 months of last season. There's a lot of SoxTalk that took a year and a month to see it.

Official "Squared Circle" Thread
Bret Hart > HBK. Lots of people are > HBK. Michaels is excellent, by all means, but I know a lot of people I prefer.

I sing a little song for you
QUOTE(MHizzle85 @ May 19, 2007 -> 04:09 AM) This made me laugh, but yet I think my ears are bleeding. That's the point, mate. By the way, did you ever get any of my PMs re: wrestling? Not to bump this old thread but someone asked me for the lyrics on another place and I thought I'd post them here. To arrive walk and take the turn. You arrive there and you take a right, Take a left, You see the Sears Tower, It’s the tallest tower, and I like their tamales, and animals, and also Magali, The fantastic place is glorious In the Pascua island, But that’s not where we are. To get there, I walk and make the turn, You arrive there and make it right, We take a right to make a left, And you see the one that is, Which one that is, Which one that is! Which one that is Machu Pichu! Machu Pichu! Machu Pichu! Thank you Mr. Benet We are singing in Class When you get old you don’t sit on the table Don’t sit on the tables Don't sit on the tables So don’t sit on the tables Don’t sit on the tables Don’t sit on the tables

White Sox vs. Cubs, 5/20/07 (W)
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 20, 2007 -> 04:22 PM) No offspeed stuff? What type of pitch did he get Soriano out on? Must have been a fastball I guess -- apparently fastballs come in at 83 and drop. I forgot, I don't agree with you, so I'm (your?) an idiot. Is he inconsistent with his breaking stuff? Sure. That's not what you're saying, though. Great post.

Well crap.

Open for Discussion: is the offense awake?
They've had a fair offensive series. Don't know how much of that has to do with bad pitching and bad defense on the Cubs' part. But who thinks they've turned the corner? Curious what the masses think.

QUOTE(fathom @ May 20, 2007 -> 03:50 PM) Ozzie will want to get Jenks some work. Let's hope it's not a save situation. Oh. I didn't know it'd been that long for Jenks.

QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 20, 2007 -> 03:47 PM) Jenks should get the 9th. Logan should get the mopup ninth.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ May 20, 2007 -> 03:41 PM) Except for yesterday and the day before, of course. Yeah. I don't know what was going on there but he usually saves Thornton to set up the later innings not in middle relief

White Sox vs. Cubs, 5/20/07 (W)
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ May 20, 2007 -> 03:36 PM) Hopefully Ozzie was looking as Thornton pitched that last inning. Use him, not Sisco. He saves Thornton for later-innings.

QUOTE(beautox @ May 20, 2007 -> 03:25 PM) still the wrong f***ing call to let him hit. Not really. You put Hall in and he's at D, and let's say he'd stranded the runners, singles are triples and it's a different game. -- Great job AJ Pierzynski.

White Sox vs. Cubs, 5/20/07 (W)
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 20, 2007 -> 03:10 PM) I'd MUCH rather have a tired Masset against Ward then any Sisco against Derrek Lee. If you don't agree you and Ozzie can be on the same dunce cap baseball boat. There were quite a few people calling for Masset to be pulled with good reason. I wouldn't have brought in Sisco but we don't know everything about who's available, why or why not, etc. etc. so I'm not going to crucify him for bringing in Sisco. That's the last time I'll talk to you about baseball though as your nonsense has become unbearable
-
White Sox vs. Cubs, 5/20/07 (W)
I would imagine there's some good reason why Sisco was in there instead of Thornton or someone else. Besides, it was time to pull Masset at that point. Some people need to calm down.

Soriano would've run on Toby. Toby can't throw it that far.
