1) have sunday lineups and 2) do the beautiful outfield alignment you're speaking of.
But Quentin's natural position is RF right? I feel like Ozzie/Joey HAS to know this. Are they just afraid to put him out there for a game because they think he'll be uncomfortable out there (since he's so used to left now)? If thats true, thats a load of crap. I understand the need for him in left when JD is playing, but playing Pods in center (ha!) and BA in right is a joke.

I want Joey Cora back...
s***, you're right. Joey Cora is an idiot.
But he's only following what Ozzie would do...
You know Ozzie would have done the same thing.
Ozzie Guillen is stupid.
BA in right, Pods in Center? f***ing do it right!
Quentin in right, Pods in left, BA in center. I swear to god, he doesn't know anything about baseball.

Anyway we can include Betemit in the trade? Or just ship him as far away from 3B as possible?
We should include him in the deal that sends Broadway to San Diego, but only if this trade talk keeps up occupied for over 24 hours..
if it gets to 48, i'll drive them to San Diego myself.
Purdue just got a huge QB prospect to transfer to the school.. White Sox (may) get Jake Peavy.. this is the best day in sports for me, in a long while.
GET IT DONE KW!

I have talked to buerhle in person and shared a drink with him....from that meeting i can safely say he wouldn't give a damn...most down to earth athlete i have ever met
That's pretty much what I was thinking, but I figured I'd throw it out there.
So, another interesting point to discuss: does this trade affect Buehrle at all? He'd clearly no longer be the #1/"Ace" of the squad, but I honestly think he's a big enough man to welcome this proven winner and horse to the rotation without any difficulty. What do ya'll think?

posts? I believe you mean pages... If I had to guess, we're probably already past 1,000 posts in this thread, lol.
Yeah we're close to 1100 posts. Pages are subjective, though. I used to display like 30 posts per page, so I always had way less.

I'm already sick of it, although if Broadway is involved .......................................
I say we give them Broadway just for entertaining us for 12 hours, regardless of whether or not Peavy accepts the deal.
QUOTE (WCSox @ May 21, 2009 -> 01:33 PM)
Unless Peavy insists on a full NTC through the remainder of his deal, I agree.
I agree with that too. A full NTC is just too risky for a pitcher.

That 22 million is way, way too much.
It's 22 million for ONE year. I'm perfectly okay with it. If it were 22 million per year, then we'd have a wayyy different story.
