If this deal falls through because the Sox aren't willing to guarantee the final year... ugh. As a fan, I say get this deal done, no matter the cost, and move on from there. It's not every day you have the opportunity to bring in a solid ace to anchor your rotation around for the next 3-4 years. Peavy would be a huge boost to our team, and our fan base. Do it, Kenny. Just do it.
