  1. hit 94-95 couple times in big spots tonight... (and the gun was pretty acurate... had jenks at 97-99 and the Card's stud hit 95)
  2. well we did are part... shame the cubs couldn't do theres.... .5 back of the Tigers
  3. come on Thome lets get those two doughnuts of the scoreboard
  4. QUOTE(soxunited @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 08:33 PM) Yikes, Sox are going to have to jack his pitch count way up next inning to get him out of there. Problem is is his location is spot on, its tough to take pitches he's at 77 pitches through 6... amazingly, Freddy has been more efficient.
  5. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 08:31 PM) I'd like ot know where that pitch was, but Comcast had that s***ty behind the plate view so you have no clue how close that is. right down the center... near the knees... looked like a hittable pitch to me... (watching the cardinal feed)
  6. 10 pitches that inning... 70 pitches through 6... Freddy is doing a'ight
  7. QUOTE(chitownsportsfan @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 08:22 PM) last inning for FG? not if he keeps pitching like this 11 straight.... 60 pitches as of last inning
  8. come on crowd!!! Where is the interference! Dang aristocrats in the expensive seats don't want to chip a nail
  9. Cards announcers are saying the Cards think that the sox might be relaying pitches... I guess 33 runs will do that.
  10. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 08:15 PM) I want him to throw a nono, but still have the sox win. that would be awesom... AJ needs to drive dye in first
  11. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 08:13 PM) DROPPED. NONO=NO-MO. nope scored an error.
  12. QUOTE(chitownsportsfan @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 08:10 PM) Flash: what exactly are you trying to say? We don't scout the latin countries well? I think that's fair. But if you're saying that guys like Liriano and Reyes are a dime a dozen, and we should have a few, you're kidding yourself. whats BMac? Chopped liver?
  13. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 07:56 PM) Actually, it was more just a funny moment in the game. I wasn't ragging on it at all. You could hear Hawk's voice raise a little bit when Garcia hit the 90 mph mark. I like seeing him throw the change-up to righties. It's not something he normally does, but it can be real effective when used in the right spot. fsmw gun had freddy at 94 against pujols
  14. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 07:50 PM) Don't worry, we've got our Mark Mulder in Freddy Garcia. you are pretty hard on a guy for giving us 3 2/3 scoreless innings
  15. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 07:50 PM) So........... Where's the Anthony Reyes in our minor league system? it was his first time through the line up... I expect Thome, Konerko, and Dye to do a lot better the second time around.
  16. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 07:32 PM) By slow, I think he was referring to how Freddy takes his time on the mound as opposed to his velocity. Yeah I should of clarified that... I was trying to quote him directly, tho
  17. Cards announcer say Freddy pitches slow because he is from Venezuela (which is like the Caribian) and is on Island time. Is that racist?
