  1. well if you are going to walk someone... Lee is the guy to walk.
  2. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 01:45 PM) Didnt he just fly out deep to left? Isn't that a good AB for BA? WGN had him throw at 94 a second a go.
  3. oooh good throw by BA, just a little high... almost had him
  4. this ump has the worst strike sign I've ever seen... he lets out a whelp and closes his fist. sheet, good speed aboard.
  5. QUOTE(BFirebird @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 01:39 PM) Personally I would walk BA here to get to the pitcher....but it doesnt matter he flew out. pfft have you forgotten who the pitcher is? It's Jon "first homerun hit by a white sox pitcher since the 70s" Garland.
  6. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 01:38 PM) Taz hits a line drive to Nevin. Nevin? The first baseman/catcher is playing left? You have to be f***ing kidding me. Okay....well back to it. 3-0 sox lol when I saw BA hit a deep fly ball... I was thinking 50/50 Nevin drops this.
  7. QUOTE(Frankensteiner @ Jun 29, 2006 -> 05:16 PM) I watched the first 2 innings and I saw him sitting at 92 and 93. He had bad location the entire day and his forker was just floating up there for the most part. But who reported that on ESPN? I dunnon it was the sports center just after the game ended... I think it was a guy with a mullet.
  8. ESPN just said jose has been topping out at 84 and 85... saying they suspect an elbow issue? the game wasn't broadcast in my area... is this true?
  9. QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Jun 29, 2006 -> 04:53 PM) Besides Burls start on Tuesday, weve been through the rotation twice now and our starters (including ETDB) have been very inconsistent and quality starts have been hard to come by. Nothing that is too alarming, especially with our offense right now, but it is something to take notice of. Weve been giving the opposition way too many baserunners, and we can't alway rely on our offense to pick up the slack. I'd like to see a starter go at least 8 over the weekend... I think Garland in Cincy was our only 8 inning start this entire month. Freddy pitched a gem against st louis.
  10. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jun 29, 2006 -> 02:53 PM) I just dont understand what the f*** goes through Ozzie's head sometimes. Why the f*** was Politte out there? WHY THE f***?! because ozzie and Kenny want to know what they have in Polite before the deadline?
  11. is it bad that I expect s*** like that to happen?
  12. I decided to start Ken Griffey Jr. over Dye today on my fantasy team.... so you can expect Jermaine to be 5 for 5 with like 4 HRs today.
  13. 12 hits? sox are stealing signs again.... but how did they get their camera into center field at a away game
  14. QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 06:25 PM) like juan was gunna do anything when he came up to bat anyways :rolly by saying that, you have destined him to hit the cover off the ball in his next at bat
  15. QUOTE(beautox @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 06:21 PM) snells pitch count is now 27 if they can get into the bullpen quick this game... its going to be long series for the Pirates.
  16. I love watching this on Telemundo... thousand times better then the espn announcers.... ¡¡¡¡¡¡GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!! ¡¡¡PARA FRANCIA!!! ¡¡¡¡GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!
  17. QUOTE(lukeman89 @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 01:02 AM) didnt he call tadahito "Iguchison" at some point in the game? I think its iguchi-san adding the san to name implies they are "soto" to you... Its kind of like showing respect to your betters... or being polite.
  18. QUOTE(retro1983hat @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 02:22 PM) Not a smart thread. I dissagree... this thread is full of smart.... alecs!
  19. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 02:26 PM) I'm sure Leinart regrets that decision every day now. He was the consensus #1 pick to San Fran, but came back to school to see his running back win the Heisman, a scrambling QB win the National Championship, and 9 people get drafted ahead of him. Other such players would be dumb to make the same mistake. If Oden is smart, he's gone after year 1, because injuries can happen at any given time. could you imagine how much money Noah might've lost if he gets a serious injury... or isn't able to play at the same level he did in the tourney this year. I can't imagine turning down a top 4 pick in the draft for another year in college... any shmuck can get a degree... very few people can get top 4 cash.
