  5. QUOTE(knightni @ Jul 2, 2006 -> 11:46 AM) Totally non-biased captions. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...cs-home-utility "A.J. Pierzynski connects on his go-ahead three-run homer in the ninth inning…" "…doesn't grandstand at all after he hits it…" "…the fans join Pierzynski in watching the homer travel onto Sheffield…" "…and Pierzynski is welcomed back to the dugout by elated Sox fans." "Cubs closer Ryan Dempster reacts to blowing yet another save." "A.J. Pierzynski and Bobby Jenks do some sort of mutual condescension head-pat after Jenks showed Cubs fans how a closer is supposed to do his job." LOL I love it.
  6. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jul 1, 2006 -> 08:30 PM) AND THE BUCCOS TAKE THE LEAD IN THE 7TH! STILL RUNNERS ON THE CORNERS, 1 DOWN! Buccos take one from the Tigers... Sox only 1.5 back! Muhahahahahaha
  7. in 2004 he (contreras) did and last year at the end of July he had an era of 4.58 It is way to soon to give up on this guy... there are lot of people in New York wishing they didn't give up on Contreras when they did.
  8. were you guys calling for contreras's head after the first half last season? Lets let Coop have a little more time with him before we throw the baby out with the bathwater.
  9. Fox just said Kenny might be interested in Miguel Tejada.
  10. QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 11:35 PM) I can't watch tomorrow (and most likely Sunday unless I get wireless on my laptop), I'll be on a plane to Miami I made the mistake of scheduling a flight during a Bears-Packers game last year. The Pilots were awesome though, the copilot kept trying to pick up the radio signal from the game and they were broadcasting it through the plains headphones. It was pretty damn cool. (especially after some bloody marys.
  11. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 07:18 PM) Good news: Pirates scored 1! Too bad the Tigers have scored 7 so far. +1 7-2... Come on buccos!
  12. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 04:22 PM) The Tiger's lead is back to 2. Hopefully the Bucs turned a corner in that last game against the sox... I'd like to see them take at least one from detroit.
  13. replay looks like Walker might of beaten it out... but BAker is too much of a puss... time to start another win streak.
  14. Ozzie just went ballistic trying to get BA to move in the outfield.
  15. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 04:13 PM) Time for Thornton to DRILL Pierre!! LOL
  16. QUOTE(Greg Hibbard @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 04:05 PM) I'm sitting here wondering how I'm gonna possibly come up with excuses for Garland's outing today, sqwert I'm a little upset that he was 0-3 with 2Ks today. EXCUSE THAT!
  17. QUOTE(Capn12 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 04:05 PM) Gooch 0 for 4 with 3 K's today. We struck out a metric f***ton today against the Flubs, but still its 6-2!! thats because Juan Uribe is the baddest mother F***er God ever blew breath into.
  18. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 03:55 PM) Yeah, eating up pitches .. on a reliever. That means nothing. Yes? No, he just needs to eat his meats. I'll take contact over no contact any day of the week... unless there is a guy on first.
  19. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 03:53 PM) What the hell, Brandon looks unnatural. The kid needs to put on some weight. are you suggesting he should start juicing?
